I paid off my mothers headstone in May of 2022 and months later, spradling monument is refusing to deliver what I paid for. We were finishing the final step on the headstone-the ceramic picture plaque. They have sent me emails for approval, with no proofs/pictures attached. I have waited weeks and finally receive an email with a picture that was not edited and no updates or changes were made. They left the original photo background, I was upset but the owner ****** assured me she would get it fixed and apologized for not making changes or reviewing. I requested for the 4 different option backgrounds so my family could choose the best fit. Weeks later I finally get a revised email with only 2 different options. I sent an email asking where the other 2 options were, no response. I called and spoke with ****** where she blamed her coworker ***** saying she thought I only wanted the 2 options. I explained that I wanted all 4 options, and it was very clear because the last incident I was upset and told ****** the first time I wanted the 4 options. ****** then argued about every detail she possibly could and tried to blame me for not ever being happy. I explained this's something very important to me and my family and we would like it nice especially with as much money we have paid. She then got upset and said she is canceling the order and she will not work with me. I apologized that we both had to get this upset and asked if we could move forward and install my mothers headstone without the picture. She was unbelievably rude and said no, she does not work for me anymore she was going to send me a refund and be done. I told her this was not acceptable, we have waited so long, we are at the finish line of this project and I just want my mother to have her headstone, she assured that she WOULD NOT complete the job and I can pick up a refund check. I asked why is she choosing to do this, I thought we are in some sort of agreement and she suggested I hire a lawyer and sue.
