Overall, I feel I've been scammed and would like the $3,000 I paid to Heiza to be returned for insufficient and unfulfilled services. I hired Allegiance Moving and Storage LLC for my move and they hired Heiza, LLC. Heiza arrived for what was to be a one-day-move. They walked through my home to do an inventory of everything that was to be moved and confirmed the list of items given to them by Allegiance. They then confirmed that it would be moved in one day and that everything would fit on their truck. They told me that I needed to pay them $3000 in cash before they would begin work. (I'd already paid a $3000 deposit but I relented.) Although, they arrived at 8am, by 11am nothing had been packed in boxes. At 4pm, they reconfirmed they'd be finished within that day. At 10:30pm they called and said they'd need to SLEEP OVER IN MY HOUSE because they hadn't finished and they'd start moving everything to the truck by 7AM the next morning, and would be finished by 8AM. I arrived at my house at 7AM where I witnesses half of my items packed and half not packed. I told them everything needed to be packed and moved to the truck asap. I helped them pack and move items outside. When they finally opened their truck, it was half filled with someone else's move. With my items outside in my driveway, they told me that I needed to pay $4,000 cash in order for them to put everything on the truck. I told them "no," to which they replied, "how about $2000 cash?" They started moving items onto the truck. They then said that in order to put my items is storage, a service that Allegiance told me was included, I'd need to pay thousands more but they didn't know the exact amount and that I'd find out at drop off. Also, half of my items would be stored in TX and the other half would be stored in Arkansas. I told them to take everything off the truck. For perspective, I hired completely different movers, a local moving company, who finished packing and moved everything out in 3hrs.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/07) */ We are very sorry for this misunderstanding as regarding the complaints write up. We showed up at the customers house which she agreeded for HEiZA LLC to move her stuff. She did sign the paperwork acknowledging to the terms of the contract and ordered us to move her belongings. She made advance payments of $3000 as first half payment of her move. We started by packing her stuff in boxes which we provided, which we slept over at her house working. The next day in the morning we moved all her stuff out of her house and she cancelled on us and we just started loading the truck. She then ask us to put all her stuff in her garage which we did. After doing all of that packing the customer cancelled. Now she wants a refund of which her stuff was more than what she had on her inventory. We told her we are open to still move her but she just did cancelled. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/07/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) An initial deposit of $3000 (cash) was paid to Allegiance Moving and Storage LLC. Once Heiza, LLC arrived on the day of my move, I was told I needed to pay another $3000 (cash) deposit before they'd begin. Once my belongings were moved outside, I was told I'd need to pay $4000 cash before they'd begin moving items onto the truck. Being that it wasn't a part of the initial agreed amount, I refused. They then said, "How about $2000 cash?" They began moving items onto their truck (which already had furniture from another move). While moving items onto their truck, they told me half of my items would be stored in Texas and the other half in Arkansas, and that I would be charged an additional $4000, or more, for storage fees, at drop off, in addition to the remaining balance for the move. I would like to be reimbursed $3000. Heiza, LLC used unethical tactics when they price gouged and did not fulfill our initial agreement. Additionally, Allegiance claims they were paid a deposit out of the initial $3000 cash deposit for packing/moving.

Pick up date 2/28. When I was quoted by my broker I was told I should receive my belongings in a week and a half. There was an argument with the broker and the moving company. The moving company wanted more money then what the quote was. I had given a list to the broker and they quoted the price. The moving company wanted more money and I had already given the driver a check. The mover called me up and said I need to cancel the check and at that time I was two days into my travel to South Carolina and the check had already cleared. The moving company held my belongings hostage and wouldn't delivery my items, they were delivered on the 18th day due to having to deliver by law 21days. All my items were on the list. The truck was too small. I had to leave my weber grill behind, a leather chair although I have the ottoman. The movers broke my two clay pots worth $200.00, My elliptical is scratched, my white rug is now grey since they put the grey pad on top of the white carpet which belled trough. My experience was a nightmare. I am now trying to file a claim for damage and the mover is not getting back to me. I was given the wrong information to put in a claim

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/05) */ Sorry about the damages you might have incurred during the move, and we are still to find out what was damaged. About your stuff left behind, please take that to the broker Allegiance because their volume estimate was not right. More so, the stuff we picked up was more volume than what was estimated by the broker, and we still did not charge you for the extra cubic ft. Please do send us an email of the stuff damaged and with pictures so we could see what to do with them. Out email address is ***************** Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/04/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) As long as my claim goes through and I get reimbursed I will be satisfied. HEIZA needs to take his issues to Allegiance, this should have never turned into my problem because the broker screwed up. That has been the issue from the start. I didn't hire him allegiance did. I shouldn't have been told I got away with paying. I am the customer. This was between the broker and the moving company.
