          On December 3, 2018, BBB Serving North Central Texas requested that Apex Mastermind substantiate, modify, or discontinue a multitude of advertising claims on the company's website, apex-mind.com, www.powerenrich.com, as well as the company's Facebook page. The business advertises a large number of concerning advertising claims regarding its brain supplement.

          The company's website also includes a countdown clock which resets each time the website is reloaded to give the impression that supplies are limited, in addition to stating "WARNING: Due to extremely high TV demand, there is limited supply of Mastermind in stocks as of" todays date. Internal research has been unable to locate any TV appearances naming this particular product.

          Lastly, the business advertises several unsubstantiated price reductions, shipping savings, unsubstantiated security certificates, and also claims that its supplement is "100% All Natural", "100% Organic", and is "Recommended by Doctors".

          Notably, the business advertises the following concerning health claims that require competent and reliable scientific substantiation:

          *"Mastermind is the #1 natural cognitive enhancer that can noticeably improve your focus and increase brain activity within the first week",
          *"increase your energy",
          *"boost brain performance",
          *"allows you to access vivid and memorable lucid dreams, giving you an emotional lift and untold physical relaxation - the perfect rest away from your working day",

          *"improve test scores",
          *"(it has) the potential to help prevent Alzheimer's",
          *"Improves speed of visual information processing, learning rate, and memory consolidation", and many more concerning claims.

          The BBB Code of Advertising also states, "Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data." www.bbb.org/code-of-advertising#Claimed_Results

          The business also advertises that its products are "Made in the USA".
