On March 21, 2024, BBB Serving North Central Texas requested that eCom Family Academy substantiate, modify, or discontinue advertising claims on the company's website. The business advertises, in part:

Notably, a search of the Texas Secretary of State’s did not show an active filing for Ecom Family Academy. BBB requested information from the business concerning if it is registered to conduct business in Texas, its ownership and physical location.

Additionally, the business has a pattern of complaints concerning income claims/misleading advertisements, refund issues/guarantees not honored, and allegations that products are not delivered. BBB requested that the business engage with our office to reduce or eliminate the noted pattern of complaints stemming from the company’s marketing practices.

The BBB Code of Advertising also states, “Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.”

As of May 3, 2024, the business has failed to respond to BBBs requests.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the services provided by RJITSCT /The Ecom Family organization, particularly regarding the Winner Circle Drop Shipping program, to which I purchased on the 18th of August 2023. Despite assurances of receiving a winning scalable product and ongoing support until success was achieved, my experience has been fraught with additional expenses, promises, disappointment, and frustration.1. Unfulfilled Promise of Winning Scalable Product: Upon signing up for the Winner Circle program, I was assured that each member would be provided with a winning scalable product and would receive dedicated support until success was attained. However, I have yet to receive any such product or meaningful assistance in identifying one. The testimonials provided, which purportedly showcased successful outcomes, were misleading as they were from coaches incentivized by enrollment commissions, not genuine program participants.2. Undisclosed Monthly Fees and Access Restrictions: Subsequent to my enrollment, access to the program's portal was blocked, and an unanticipated monthly fee of $199.00 was levied. Neither the imposition of this fee nor the restriction of access was communicated prior to enrollment, constituting a breach of trust and transparency.3. Unethical Rebranding and Fee Imposition: The rebranding of the program from Winner Circle to Winner ************, along with the mandate to pay a monthly fee for continued access, is both unethical and exploitative. Changes were implemented without adequate notification or justification, indicating a disregard for the welfare of existing members.4. Lack of Communication and Support: Despite my repeated attempts to seek guidance and clarification on my progress within the program, my inquiries have been consistently ignored. ******** directed to the head coach, including those sent outside the general chat for privacy, have gone unanswered, leaving me feeling abandoned and disregarded

Deceptive advertising. Additional fees for advertising to RUN the your website sales are NOT included in the advertising, the live seminar nor the final screens where you pay to enroll in the program. Once in the program, ********************** is screened in the *************** I've asked very many questions to be ignored or directed back to the class recordings. They pushed for so many enrollees they could no longer offer the services included in the initial program. They began live classes during non-conventional daytime hours on Zoom with attendee numbers pushing over 400 people at once. No real opportunities for questions and directing attendees to recordings from the course that were incomplete or dated/no longer accurate. I knew once I started the recordings and the key steps for store creation were incredibly dated, there was a problem. I already had my store partially running before enrollment, but I realized their recordings were incomplete or terribly confusing for a novice. They advertised a program that should have walked customers through store creation EASILY. Not the case. Everything they didn't/couldn't speak they directed customers to research on the internet or ******** For a program that costs almost $2000 with another need for $1000 in advertising, this outcome has been disheartening. If they can't service their customers, they should stop selling the program. They also should stop upselling when they don't have enough employees to help. I'm working with a new company now and I've already made my money back. By the way, they don't include in their advertising their partnerships with ******************** They push ShineOn products HEAVILY in an over saturated marketplace of custom necklaces. I saw a lot of older adults on fixed incomes in the ************** raising issues about ******************* not mentioned during sign up. I felt bad for these people. Very troubling.
