I'd leave zero stars if possible. Gig wage has held a significant amount of my money for 3 weeks. Our entire fleet of contractors are still waiting to be paid with no date in sight...and little to no communication. This business is a joke. Look somewhere else for a platform to pay contractors.

My brand ambassador company that I work for called Source Cocktails uses Gig Wage to pay it's employees. Two events that I have worked have been processed on a Thursday with deposit to my bank the next day. My last event was on 5/04 that was processed 5/09 with no deposit to my bank the next day. I waited until Monday with no deposit still. I reached out to Gig Wage. They acknowledged that the payment was processed 5/09, and that they are aware of a delay. They told me that their team was dedicating all necessary resources to address the issue quickly. I was told to be patient, and they would keep me updated as soon as they have more information and expected timing. It is now 5/16 with no response as to the reason or timing expected of my payment. Three other direct deposit payments from different companies have been deposited to my bank account since this issue, so I know it is not my bank. I have three events coming up in the near future, and it has me worried that I will not receive payment on time in the future. This information or expected timing is needed for my financial planning. I reached out again this morning by email, but Gig Wage did not reply. Please let me know what exactly is going on here. This is putting me into financial hardship. It wouldn't be so bad if they could give me an expected pay day, at least.
