I was shopping on the ************* website. I found a dog I wanted to purchase. ********* gave me contact info for the seller: JANIYAH FLOWERS at ******************************************* and address: *****************************************. I decided to purchase the dog. I sent a $300 deposit per request on 10/12/2022 via ***** app. She also asked for payment for the animal to be transported to Florida from Texas. I made another payment to her of $130 for said flight on 10/12/2022. She assured me the puppy would depart on Thursday 10/13/2022. She took the entire day to delay me in sending me a flight itenerary. She assured me the dog's vaccinations were taken care of and her papers were in order. Approximately 5pm 10/13/2022, I received an email from the transport agency ******************** *********** stating that the airlines required a "special" thermal protection crate for the flight. So I paid another $570 for the crate. I was told I would receive 97% back on delivery of the dog and they would take the crate back. Approximately an hour later, I was emailed that the required "Refundable Pet Insurance" for the transport for the animal's safety. So I made a third payment of $570 on 10/12/2022 for the "pet insuance." This was paid via ***** to a Darrin W******* at *****************************. After that payment I was told the dog was in Charlotte NC airport being blocked from transporting on to Florida. They stated that the dog needed a rabies shot and I needed to pay $1800 for "cite permits." Otherwise, the dog would be in quarantine and stuck at the airport. I have been threatened today that "if I did not make payment for the cite permit, the dog will be taken to the local animal control center and I "would never see the dog again." I have tried to contact the seller (Janiyah) who said to contact the transport agency. I called them and they angrily demanded I pay the fees and hung up on me. I tried calling the airport to no avail. No dog.
