I hired BT-Thomas Court Services for service as a professional private server to serve documents to a defendant. I made clear to Ms. ******* at the time that time is of the essence and there is a time constraint regarding my case. There are rules/laws established by the court on dates to submit documents to the court. The company accepted my case. I paid $165,I received an email that on October 25, 2023, the defendant was served on October 25 @ 8:30 AM. I was expecting the same day or at least the following day to receive the affidavit.On October 27th, I emailed and made repeated calls to the Office to get a copy of the affidavit. I left my messages that I am submitting relevant documents and need to include the Affidavit. I sent to the court the documents without the affidavit. I was told later by ******* that they were just busy. This is not understood. Why take additional customers if due to busyness, the service can not be effectively/efficiently provided? What good is the service, i.e., the defendant being served if it can't be proven and shown to the court? I received the affidavit on November 1, 2023 @ 7:50 PM as an email attachment. The affidavit in itself is not complete as it failed to mention/identify the second case number.To this date, I've not received the corrected Affidavit with the original signature of the process server which is the one normally sent to the court.On Nov. 3, my case was dismissed for failure to perfect the service.
