A fraudulent account was opened in my name. It was charged $14. ******* Outlet called me to try to collect. I told them it was not me that made the charge and I would like to file a fraudulent claim. I was told by the ************* associate that the account would be sent to their ***************** (******* Outlet does not have a *****************) Months later I get a call from a collection agency asking to collect over $300 from me. I told them it was fraud, I never had an account with ******* **********************. The collection agency is sending me paperwork to file. Again ******* Outlet does not have a ***************** A ************* associate confirmed they only have a verification system for orders not for opening accounts. Beware when using your credit cards shopping at ******* Outlet or opening any accounts with them. They do not have a ****************************** ******* Outlet only verifies the account when charges are made. They have no way of deal with fraudulent accounts and no safe guards in place for customers information.Initial Complaint

I have issues with ******** Bank receiving and posting payments. They are claiming that it's taking the mail 3-4 weeks to get there. According to the ****, the mail should get there in 1-5 business days. I have had trouble with them charging late fees when I know the payments got there by the due date. They send the statement out and I receive It in 4 or 5 days, but when I send in a payment it takes 3 -4 week for them to get it. I have other bills that goes to Texas, but they are the only business I am getting late fees charges for. Ex. I mailed in a payment on 12/22/22 and it posted 01/11/23. It took 3 weeks to post, but they sent the statement back 01/12/23 and I received it on 01/18/23. It only took a few days for me to their mail, but take a weeks for my to reach them. This has happened a couple times. There is a problem with the mail or how they post the payments. They need to find the source of the problem and fix it instead of just accessing people late fees. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one complaining. I have a credit score of 839 and I don't have any late fees, late payments or negative items posted on my credit report. Therefore I taeke this incident very serious. The problem is in the mailing system there or how they post payments, either way they need to correct it. They claim they post the payments the day they receive them. Other Texas accounts only takes a few days 5-6 days to clear.
