The company did work on my home April 2023 and I never received a receipt or final paperwork after payment. I have reached out to them a few times and never get a response.Business response

September 19th, 2022, I had a new roof put on by Home Quality Solutions, ****** **.. *************************. Was reassured everything was completed. February 12th I noticed a large water spot at the fireplace, Attic was wet. Pics and text/ sent to ************************* w/o response, straight to voicemail. Used someone else's phone, reaching ******. He Stated he'd give me a day/time someone would be out for repairs. Workers show unannounced. Communication-language barrier, we did try. Was told I had a hole under the shingles. I inquired about no flashing. I expressed that my siding was rotting due to the water on the chimney. But again, communication barrier. They wanted to paint over my wet ceiling at fireplace, I refused because it was wet. They said that someone else would do all the other repairs. I noticed deterioration on chimney, upon roof found "repairs". .. Behind the fireplace there's a Crater-like area that would hold water. . Pictures attached. Tried several times to text/ call ( w pics) same as before, to address issues, w/o response. Used another phone, called, **************** said "Wednesday or Thursday he'd be out to do repairs." I told him about the 80% chance of rain for Wednesday. I could not get a specific time. I was/ am very concerned that water was going to pour through my roof. My boyfriend called and *************** answered and was short with him saying it would be Saturday. Rained today for about an hour and I had water coming through my roof, pics attached. To resolve this issue I would like to have it repaired by a third party who's reliable, trustworthy and consistent, and at ******************* expense. If he does repairs I'd like have a third party do a complete inspection of the repairs and the entire roof to ensure there are no more problems that could arise from inadequate workmanship.Also at ******************** expense.Customer response

Yesterday 2-26-2023 ************************* sent one worker out unannounced. He finished. The fireplace looks awful. He showed me the rot the water damage caused up there and shrugged his shoulders as if that's all he could do. Worker was very nice and professional. Communication was ok. My problem is the repairs are still not complete. The outer rot was just covered up.***** isn't flashing around the whole fireplace. That's not acceptable and I would prefer a third party to do all necessary repairs correctly and at ***************************** expense. This has gone in long enough. I paid for his service and he has yet to come through with quality workmanship. Pictures attached of the second unannounced repair!

Hello **************** we're so sorry to hear about this inconvenience on your roof, we already spoke with ***************************** to get to resolve this as fast as is possible and we give the order to put a new cricket on the bottom of your chimney without any cost for you. Is it our understanding that this repair was done this Saturday 02/25/2023 and **************** told us that you were satisfied with the job.

I am not satisfied with my roof. There was that cricket that I wasn't informed was going on there. It looks awful. It was put on over rotted wood that should have been replaced when I paid for my new roof. The rot still remains. The flashing is not correct. The worker showed me pic of how the rot was covered up. I saw pics... I even have some. I would appreciate if we could resolve this professionally. You have proven three times that the quality of workmanship is not up to par. I want it done correctly. I have warranty. So I suggest we either have a third party ( uninterested) to correct the poor job that has caused mold and rot in my home due to your poor workmanship, At your expense. Or if you do it, I'd want a third party to inspect the entire roof to ensure we don't have to keep going back and forth. This is very stressful to me as a widow!Customer response
