We have an issue with Northpark Center Mall in ******, *****. For a number of years I have purchased Northpark Gold gift coins as Christmas gifts. The last purchase was in December, 2021. I have given them as Christmas gifts to friends. They have been able to get gifts of her choosing as sales have gone on after the holidays. As of August, 2023 we have become aware that Northpark Mall will no longer honor the Northpark Gold coins, nor will they provide any alternate form of reimbursement for consumers who have purchased them in the past. I find this annoying to say the least and consider it criminal that they will not honor what is basically a gift certificate that they have sold in the past. We stopped by the Northpark Mall Concierge on August 26, 2023 to exchange our coins and were told they are no longer honored. We are filing a complaint against NorthPark Center Mall for failure to honor their gift programs. We can provide a picture of the NorthPark Gold coins that we have if needed.Business response

Hello: It turns out that Northpark Center did take action to resolve the issue. I was able to make an appointment with them on Friday, October 6th, 2023 to exchange the Northpark Gold for a gift card in the same amount of $100.00. They did mention that they had received my contact information from the BBB. I thank you very much for your help with this matter. It is odd that they did not reply to you as well.
