On March 7, 2024 I signed my two boys for PhenomFTBL. League is supposed to start this fall around August / September. I believe around May I checked on status of the league and found that the league was set back due to unforeseen situation with location. I later found that their website no longer shows anything but an email to contact for information. The charge from my bank account shows it is from ftbl llc gosq.com. I have tried several times to reach out via email and I even found the supposed phone number for the director on BBB. I call that but no answer. After scouring the web for answers, I am finding out that is league was all a scam.Initial Complaint

In March of 2024 I signed my son up for the youth football league. 2 days before the season was to start, they called to cancel the team we were on. They offered to refund my money, which I accepted. After that, they never responded to my emails or calls and I never got my money back.Initial Complaint

Back in March of this year we paid for a flag football (spring) season through Phenom Ftbl for our son which was to begin in April 2024. We received canned emails communicating multiple delays (more than four) and ultimately, we asked for a refund multiple times which we never got a response to. We escalated this to our school district COO (since we learned about this program through the school district activities board) who also emailed the company - still no response.This company is a fraud and stole our money and ran. They should be shut down permanently. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY.Initial Complaint

Transaction date: 3/1/24. Sports Thread is the payment agent collecting fees on behalf of Phenom Football doing business as "FTBL LLC, ************" as it shows up on our **************** transactions. Our issue is with Phenom football, which we now believe to be a fraudulent organization. We signed our 2 boys up to play in their flag football league in ************, **********. Their website now looks vastly empty compared to what it was at the time of registration: *********************************** first, the league said they encountered technical difficulties and delayed the start of the league by 3 weeks. They then went through a prolonged discussion about how to continue the league amidst what they called a lack of enrollment and issues finding coaches. The next step they took was to fundamentally change the structure of the league and the style of play, but then didn't even deliver a safe and productive environment for the kids beyond the first day. After the second day of play, in which the league again failed to meet the standards the company promised or the standard any youth organization should abide by, the company ended the league and have not issued refunds. They have not responded to correspondence since the league went defunct and that has been more than a month from the date of this complaint now. Signed up for Phenom Football 5v5 Flag Football League in March. Beginning of April we were notified that the league wasn't going to have a season and were referred to San Antonio Rec League. Immediately San Antonio Rec League said they weren't having a season either.It's been over a month and nobody on the team has gotten a refund. The phone number on the website IS DISCONNECTED and the Phenom "Staff" is incredibly slow to respond to emails, if they respond at allBusiness response

Phenom FTBL operates independently from Phenom Elite LLC and is managed by a third-party entity, which held the license for the ********************** Elite brand and purchased Phenom Elite products from Phenom Elite LLC. We are promptly severing ties this third-party and will have no further association with the organization.
We understand that any inconvenience caused by this third-party entity does not align with our values and customer service standards at ********************** Elite LLC. We sincerely apologize for any negative experiences you may have had, and we want to clarify that while we were not directly involved, we do not condone any actions that reflect poorly on our brand.
Please recognize the separate entity structure in this scenario. We are dedicated to delivering the best products and customer service possible.
The third-party entity, Phenom FTBL will be issuing full refunds to all customers who did not participate in league play. Please note that Phenom Elite LLC does not have access to customer data or the capability to provide refunds. For any inquiries, please reach out to the staff at Phenom FTBL.

They are "promptly severing ties" they were the company and they basically cut ties with another LLC under their umbrella.
This is still a very valid complaint and should be treated as such

Phenom football advertised they would be having a flag football league in ************, Tn. They then said that there would be no ************, ** league but there would be one in ***********, **. There is no Phenom flag football league. They had no coaches and the season never started. I signed both my sons up via an ad I saw on ********* The total paid to them was $344.30. They have been saying for 2 weeks that I would be refunded and now they are not responding. Some of their numbers have been disconnected.Initial Complaint

Signed up for Spring League and it was cancelled last minute.Signed up for sports clinic it was cancelled without notice. Asked for refund still havent heard back back from anyone. No return calls. Phenom misinformed and advertised incorrect information through their representative and on their website. Our team mom spoke to the *******, CA coordinator personally to get a flag football team organized. As promised by him all games were held on Saturday mornings. Our team mom shared the info with us after talking to the coordinator. We all registered in the league in January 2024, for league to start in April. In March, our team mom and us noticed that the website now listed games to be on Friday evenings which is not what was agreed on. The coordinator had told our team mom that they would process refunds for all us on 3/11/2024. We have yet to receive our refunds. Many of us have attempted to contact Phenom directly and have yet to receive a response. I have texted ************ and emailed the ***************************** email address several times. I finally called the ************ number, left a message and have not heard back from anyone. Even if the response was, "We do not process refunds," that would be better than no answer whatsoever. All our team parents have experienced this lack of communication. No one returning messages. I believe our team mom finally spoke to a VP, but since then she has not heard from him. This situation is quite frustrating as the information changed by Phenom, we signed up when the games were scheduled for Saturday mornings. We have families coming from ** who cannot make the Friday night games. We would've never agreed or registered for the league with that information. We are hopeful that Phenom can make it right by refunding all of us. It is unprofessional to not return phone calls and remedy the error the Ontario league coordinator committed. I would like for others to be aware of how unprofessional and untrustworthy this business is. My son's name is ********************* and he signed up to be with Coach **************'m sure Phenom can gather the rest of the affected families through that information. Ontario League.
