I booked a flight from ********* to **** in February 2024 To visit my brother. Before I could take the trip, he was hospitalized and was unable to pick me up at the airport. I cancelled my flight and Travelocity issued me a travel credit to use before December of that year. I just attempted to rebook my flight for October of this year. When I first visited Travelocity's site, my credit was visible. I took a screenshot of it for my records and proceeded to book my flight. When I attempted to finalize my flight confirmation, it requested I pay an additional $23.00, which was no problem. When I attempted to charge that amount their system flagged me to call them. I called them and they directed me to the airlines. I called the airlines and they wanted to bill me an additional $50.00 because I wasn't dealing with Travelocity. I called Travelocity back and the customer service department was unable to locate my travel credit any longer. I checked the credit and coupon screen and my credit had been deleted. The service person gave me the run around until he finally just said "Have a nice day" and hung up.I was forced to call the airline back and pay the additional $50.00, so I didnt lose out on the entire price of my ticket.This company should be avoided at all cost. I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Travelocity's customer service. After spending hours trying to resolve an issue online with a representative who had difficulty understanding English, I decided to try contacting them by phone. Unfortunately, I was met with long waiting times, leaving me on hold for hours before being able to speak with someone.The lack of efficient communication and understanding from the online representative was a major setback in resolving my issue. Additionally, the excessive wait times on the phone only added to my frustration. It felt like my concerns were not being taken seriously, and the lack of prompt assistance was disappointing.As a customer, I expect efficient and effective customer service, especially when dealing with travel-related matters. It is essential for Travelocity to ensure that their representatives are well-trained and capable of understanding and addressing customer concerns in a timely manner.I hope that Travelocity takes my feedback into consideration and works towards improving their customer service experience. Absolutely horrible business to book traveling with. Almost got stuck in ****** because the transportation never picked me up to take me to the airport to go home. Called Travelocity 3 times and said it was my fault when it was theres for never updating the hotel that i was staying at. They refunded me but i feel like that is not enough of a solution considering i almost was stranded in another countryReview from Jo C

Through TRAVELOCITY I booked and paid for a room *************** (******, **) on February 17, 2024. The reservation was for one night on May 25, 2024. TRAVELOCITY send me an email confirming my reservation. No need to reconfirm. Total cost was $153.89, including $9.00 travel insurance. On May 23, 2024 received an email from *************** that my reservation had been cancelled per my request. I immediately called the hotel and said I had NOT cancelled this reservation. Front desk admitted that some in house guests at the hotel wanted to extend their stay by one more dayso they gave them our room. I said my room was was bought and paid for on February 17, 2024, as well as confirmed. He said, so sorry, but I I would get a refund and he would get his manager to call me backdidnt happen.We had concert tickets, that cost $355.51 for the 25th and now had no hotel room. 1 called numerous hotels and finally found the last room available at the *********** in **********, which was 14 miles from ****** for $206.00, booked it. 24 hours in ************** cost us $561.51. ****** learned, will NEVER book anything through TRAVLOCITY again.Review from Shapour S

Don't book for car rental with Travelocity I made reservation with Travelocity for car rental before I pickup the car05/24/2024 they charge my credit card at 05/31/2024 AC of the car stop working I return the car to Hertz rental car and I asked for two days credit they said you need talk to Travelocity , I call Travelocity I believe someone in ***** answer and said our policy is that we don't gave you money we gave you coupon I said gave me credit to my credit card but he did not accept it and I disputed on credit card.Don't make reservation with them if something happen they do not gave you your money don't trust them.Review from Michelle W

I am a long-time Travelocity customer, but recently, my bad experience eclipsed this. When booking a rental car, I was unaware I was booking a BBB-rated (1) star car company. The booking web page didn't indicate this company, as if it was masked by Travelocity. I didn't know until after I got the confirmation. My experience led to the rental car company backloading expenses almost double what Travelocity charged me. NU Car ****** refuses to reimburse me for unapproved charges. Travelocity is complicit in this transaction, and if Travelocity didn't front this company, it would never be in business.Review from Braden L

DON'T EVER BOOK A FLIGHT THROUGH TRAVELOCITY. Their customer service is horrific and their website has serious issues. I initially booked a flight to ********** only to get a confirmation email for the wrong time. When I logged in to change the flight I was somehow booked on a second flight and even though I had a first class confirmation I later found out I wasn't assigned seats (even though I definitely selected them at the time of reservation). This issue wasn't discovered until months later when I logged in to check my flight status. At that time there were only two seats left in separate rows so my fiance and I aren't even sitting together on our honeymoon flight. After discovering the seat assignment issue I called Travelocity and the solution they came up with was to cancel the second reservation (for the correct time) and reschedule the first reservation (for the wrong flight time). This resulted in us being booked in economy on the outbound flight even though we paid for first class. Then we were told that if we wanted to upgrade the first leg we had to upgrade the entire round trip at a cost of $2,400. Keep in mind that we were already in first on the return flight so we were going to be charged twice for this leg.It took three different calls to get this resolved, during which we were hung up on twice. Multiple times the customer service agents said they couldn't resolve the issue and told us to contact Alaska Air but the airline couldn't modify the reservation because it was booked through a third party. After more than 5 hours, during which we spoke to multiple supervisors, we were finally able to get the initial ticket issues resolved but our seats are still not together. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they are just inept but it borders on fraudulent incompetence. Do yourself a favor and only book direct with the airlines. ****** learned.Review from Mengxin Z

This is my first time booking with Travelocity.ca and definitely my last time. I booked one way flight from ***** to *********, price is little higher than other travel agencies, because of carry on included. I login to my account, it shows carry on bag and first checked bag FREE. But when I confirm with airline, I was informed that only 1 under seat bag (personal item) is allowed, and I have to pay 29 euros for carry on suitcase. First, I contacted Travelocity for price match. If I dont get free carry on anyway, why would I pay more? But they said that the other travel agency website is not legit and refused price match. So I tried customer service, I was telling them about this wrong and misleading info advertised on their website, agent started arguing with me, saying different airlines have different policies, and that underseat bag (personal item) considered as free carry on, which doesnt make any sense. If so, why dont you advertise all flights from this same airlines as carry on included? While everyone is allowed free under seat bag, whats so special for carry on included?? Why do you even advertise it? But agent insists airlines policy and didnt do anything, not even an apology for companys wrong info. I asked a place to complain, agent sent me wrong link again. So, no price match, misleading info, not-helpful-at-all customer service. Now, if you go check flight on Travelocity, Aug 12, 9:50am CDG-BCN, Vueling airline, you will still see CARRY ON INCLUDED. They are still advertising this scam! (But I guess they dont care) This time I cant really do anything about it, and I will never book anything from Travelocity anymore. I will ask all my friends and family to avoid this company. Travellers please be aware of this situation, double check with airlines before you book on Travelocity!
