  This was very hard to do but I want to be sure that others understand what this company means by MENTORSHIP. I want to give Yolanda the benefit of the doubt and she may be truly trying to assist but I am still confused on her definition of mentorship. I contacted Yolanda in July regarding mentorship on starting a trucking company. After Our face to face introduction we had our phone conversation and it was established that I was not even in the position to receive mentorship when we discussed the financing of the truck. WHICH I ASKED HER ABOUT THE START UP COST AND THAT WAS NOT DISCLOSED PRIOR TO. I told Yolanda I will work to save up the money then circle back. OUR MENTORSHIP HAD NEVER STARTED! Throughout the months, Yolanda checked on me which was very kind on her end but again NO MENTORSHIP WAS DONE. I realized that months had gone by and we couldn't start our mentorship so I called Yolanda and asked if I could receive a refund because I didn't know about that start up cost. Yolanda told me no because months had gone by and she mentored me. When I ask what was I mentored on She stated she gave me three documents which I attached to this complaint. One document is the DOT permit document taken from their site, The other was WORD FOR WORD COPIED AND PASTE permit information on the FMSCA website, the last was COPIED AND PASTE steps to start a trucking business from INCORPORATE.COM. Literally she copied and pasted this website's work on a word document WORD FOR WORD! This justified the payment of $300. In no way do I want to see this business go down I just don't believe she understands what mentorship entails and customers will suffer and learn the hard way. I should have done more research so I fault myself. I just want others to understand that YOUR meaning of mentorship and guidance may not be the same meaning of this business. I'll take it as a loss but maybe I can help others. Let this also be a lesson to others, learn the industry before seeking mentors.

  Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/11) */ **** ******* contacted me on 7/7/2021 regarding Mentoring her to buy a truck. i spoke with ****, she states she wants to buy semi trucks. i asked her does she have drivers and financing for purchase of trucks. she states she has 10K to buy 10 semi trucks. at that point i advised her, that would not be wise. i advised **** to contact her bank to see if she could be financed. i checked back with **** to confirm if she was approved. she states she does dispatch so she will dispatch insted. i stated that would be wise to dispatch and save up for her truck. i have met with **** in person which is something i NEVER have with covid its virtual. i have given this lady hours and hours of mentoring on how to buy a truck where to purchase and steps she will need to become a SUCCESSFUL OWNER. after she stated she was ok. i would check in with chloe to make sure she was coming along fine. each time she states everything is going good. then 4 months later, she calls saying she is depressed and her doctor said she was going through depression since May. she has never informed me of anything of depression.i am not a doctor so how would i know this. i advised her from the start you must have patience passion and purpose for trucking. she then states i want a refund for for paperwork. at that point i knew she had been having a bad day because she had never said anything was wrong in the months of helping her. she states its hard for her to write BBB, but its even harder that i go over and beyond for the women that clearly want services for free but have paid previous people thousands of dollars and whn they arrive at me think its a free service. i would like a refund for my time spent. i am trying to help but hey want to hurt. she read what sheila wrote and decided to piggy back off of it. i never told chloe i would not continue to mentor her for 300.00 but i would not refund her. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. chole is discouraged due to not being approved for finance of the truck and not having a driver. you must follow steps for success with anything in life especially a new business. please put in the work yourself before starting a business as i did. i am working to help anyone for pennies and gives all of me again countless days and nights taking away from my clients that actually appreciate the given help. i apologize she is not not happy but i will continue helping the other 99.9% customers that are. **** ******* Jul 7, 2021, 6:24 PM **** **** ******* Hello Yo, we are both in a trucking group. I remember you said I can pay them 1800 a week. Some also told me they make between no more than 60cent a mile or 20% off the load.
