    This company's workmanship was shoddy. I forwarded my complaint to the owner and my problem was only partially addressed. I was told the remainder of my problem would be completed last week, but I have heard nothing from the owner during that time. I was made to feel that I was being a problem. It is going to cost me extra money to finish the trim work that was left uncompleted. I still have yet to hear from them. I hesitate to re-contact the owner as I have found him to be reluctant to help me with a solution. He said he wanted to reimburse me for any inconvenience. I told him the money wasn't my main concern. I just want the job finished the way it was promised without the animosity. I suspect the reason I haven't heard back from him is due to my posting of a negative review on his website.

    In response to Mr. ******'s review of Foster Exteriors Window Company's shoddy workmanship, we strongly feel we did everything we could to explain the expectations for the unique project of removing eight wood-framed windows in one opening and installing only four which would result in an area showing where studs had been removed and would require another trade to complete the finish work. The window installation was flawless, it's simply this area of concern that Mr. ****** is unhappy with. It was communicated to Mr. ****** in our initial consultation and again when our lead installer visited the jobsite on two separate occasions. It was again discussed in a phone call and in an email, which included a sketch, explaining what he should expect, all before the contract had been signed. Our contract states that we are not responsible for any painting, repairs, or carpentry work unless specified as part of our agreement and we felt that this was understood. A week after installation, Mr. ****** informed us that he was unhappy with the outcome of the job. Our lead installer came out for an inspection and to offer a temporary solution but Mr. ******'s constant criticism of our Company made for a very uncomfortable and unwelcome visit for our installer. Shortly after leaving, we received a negative review from Mr. ****** and we then realized that even after thoroughly explaining all the details of the job on several occasions, and trying to offer a solution, that we would, regrettably, be unable to meet Mr. ******'s expectations. We performed everything that our contract entailed and feel we made every effort to explain all the details to Mr. ******. We take pride in our workmanship and the satisfaction of the customer is our top priority. We regret Mr. ****** was not satisfied with the outcome.
