I am filing a complaint for a full refund on defective flooring. The total amount for materials and labor is $11,467.45. Below is a timeline of events that have occurred over the past 10 months. We have had three claims submitted and are waiting the results of our third claim.1/10 - 10/14 - Flooring Installed 1/18 - Found 1st piece of defective flooring 1/19 - Notified ***** from Floor Specialist about the defective board 1/21 - ****, the installer, came out to inspect the flooring 1/27 - 1st Claim submitted by ***** 4/11 - 1st Claim was denied 4/22 - Floor Specialist hired a flooring inspector to conduct an investigation and submitted a 2nd claim 7/14 - Texted ***** to find out if there were other options to getting this issue resolved and/or a full refund, as we have been waiting for almost 6 months. Her response was that she would call and email the claims department.8/5 - **** from ***************, the flooring supplier, came out to inspect the floor and submitted a 3rd claim 8/24 - Still haven't heard back on our 3rd claim. Texted ***** to ask for a full refund, as we have been waiting for 7 months. No refund was given.8/29 - Found out that *************** was dropped by AHF, the flooring supplier, and will have to make a claim directly with the manufacturer.10/3 - Over 8 months and still waiting. Emailed ***** requesting a full refund. No refund given.10/19 & 11/7 - Called **** directly to get an update on claim. Still processing.11/26 - Texted ***** to let her know that we have been waiting over 10 months to get this issue resolved and that we will be filing a complaint with the BBB on Monday, November 28th.My husband and I feel that it is unprofessional to make us wait for the claim to be processed. This delay has caused us to have over 10 months of unfinished work and as a result postponement of contractors. We are looking forward to getting this issue resolved and our home put back together.
