Someone from this phone number has called me over a hundred times in the last month. Every time I answer, a recording comes on saying that they will transfer me to a representative, but that never happens. I have even waited on the line up to 30 minutes to see if I can talk to someone. I have also called the number at various times throughout the day with the same result.I do not know what this company wants to talk to me about and have blocked their number, but they continue to call and harass me for no known reason. Although their number is blocked, they are still able to leave messages. It is always the same one, "Hello, this is *************************** from ARstrat. Please contact me or any of our representatives at ************. Again, that number is ************." The problem with this voicemail is that it is a robotic voice and not an actual human that is calling which tells me that I am on auto-dial with this company. I have not been able to reach anyone to find out what the issue is or to tell them to stop harassing me and am at **** end because they call several times a day, even while I am at work.I would like to know if there is anything that the BBB can do to help contact this company and tell them to either have a human contact me and tell me what this is all about or stop calling me all together.

Hello, my name is ******************* (contact info: phone # ********** email ********************* BBB notified me that I need to add to my initially submitted complaint an appropriate resolution which I seek, which I will do below:

On February 12 2024, I received a letter from the ARstrat company (see 3 photos submitted with the initial complaint) where this company notified me that I needed to pay $24.43 to Apria P.O. Box 31001-1157 ******** ** 91110-1157. I checked my Apria account and found out that I do not owe any money to the ************** Please, see the screenshot with the dates and zero balance on my Apria account attached. The resolution I seek is as follows: I ask BBB to send ARstrat the screenshot of my Apria account. which I attach to my complaint, so that the ARstrat company had the proof / documented evidence that I do not owe Apria any money. Desired resolution: No further contact from this business.

On Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 12:54 PM I received a phone call from this company which once I answered I had to press one to verify that it was myself on the line. After about a minute on hold ***** answered the phone. She asked if she was speaking with ***** which I answered yes and then she wanted me to give her my date of birth and address on file. I asked if she was calling me she should have the information in front of her. Her response was yes, but I need to verify, I said I understand that but if you have the information already can we move forward and her response was Ill take that as a refusal and hung up the phone. There was no explanation or offer of an alternative solution. I am aware they are contacting me, trying to collect a debt, however, as a previous victim of identity theft, I am reluctant to give information over the phone. I had to call back because I am not avoiding paying the debt just looking for an alternative way to take care of it without giving my personal information over the phone. When I called back, ***** answered again, and she seemed to think, it was funny that I did not understand their process. At this point I asked for a supervisor she transferred me to a woman named *****, who picked up and explained to me that is just their process when I asked her for an alternative it was not offered. At this point I asked for her name, phone number and the address of the business and her response was. do you need to verify I believe she was trying to mock me. At that at that point, I asked for her name again and her title and she responded operations manager. I repeated that to her and then she said supervisor, so Im not sure if I actually talked to a manager or supervisor when I asked for one or if this was somebody posing in a position of authority. Then I told her I did not appreciate being mocked. And that I would be alerting the Better Business Bureau about this phone call.

In May of 2023, I received a collections letter (dated 5/18/23; ref no. ********) from ARstrat, LLC. The letter was an attempt to collect a debt of $71.41 on behalf of Apria Healthcare. The letter itemized 4 charges dating from 8/11/22 that add up to $71.41. The letter also stated that if I wanted to dispute the debt I should contact them with supporting documentation by 6/27/23. Since I was very clear that I did not owe this amount to Apria, I sent ARstrat a detailed letter on 5/29/23 disputing the debt with approximately 10 pages of supporting documentation. I sent the letter with tracking and delivery was confirmed on 6/5/23. A few weeks later, on 6/20/23, I called ARstrat to ask about the status of the dispute. They confirmed receiving it and said it was under review and to call back again in a couple of days. I called back on 6/23/23 and once again was told the dispute was under review. They could not tell me when it would be resolved, but said they would contact me. After waiting a month, I contacted ARstrat again on 7/24/23 and was once again told the dispute was still under review and could take an indefinite amount of time to resolve. I have waited another 4 months and still have not heard back from ARstrat. The primary reason this is a problem for me is that I need medical equipment from Apria Healthcare and they will not provide it to me until the billing dispute has been settled. I am simply asking that ARstrat do its job, review my dispute, and contact Apria with their findings. I am hoping BBB can help me resolve this issue.

I paid a bill by mail, the check was never cashed, their website doesn't work, and the phone number provided just plays music in the background, no one answered. I am concerned they will use my information for fraudulent purposes.
