On January 17,2024 I rented a room at the ******************. The first room I was put in had a heater that did not work. I talk to the night manager bc she was on duty as it was around 4 am. She moved me to a different room and after about 3 hours even though the heater was on high, it was still freezing cold in the room. At this time the office had the day time people working again. I called the office and informed the owner/ Co owner about the problem. He said he would check into it. An hour later I was still freezing and had heard nothing back from the owner. So I walked down to the office and he said all the rooms were that cold. I know that isn't true bc my friend is a also renting a room at ****************** and his room is toasty warm. I asked the owner if he could please move me to a different room with a properly working heater he then told me that I would have to pay for another room if I wanted to move. I had only been in the freezing cold room for 4 hours and never went any further than right inside the door where the heater was. Trying to stay warm by staying next to it. He started screaming and yelling at me to get out and refuses to give me a refund. I did nothing more than stand in that room next to the heater for almost 4 hours. Never once getting anywhere close to being warm. I just wanted to be moved to a room with a properly working heater.Business response

Good afternoon
North ***** had freezing temperatures during the dates of 13,14,15 and 16th of January ****. Unfortunately the colder it gets, the harder it is for any ************************* to keep up. The customer was given a room that had a functional heater. The customer used the room completely and stayed past the check out time of 11am.
The property manager had to go to the room and ask them to leave This is a frivolous complaint and should be removed.

I have been living here at Texoma Inn since October - November of 2021 and I am being charged taxes to reside here at Texoma Inn Denison Texas 75020. Why are residents here being taxed to stay longer than 30 days? I would like all the taxes I have paid paid back to me. I fear backlash for filing a complaint will be brought toward me so if there is a way to keep this anonymous? If unable I might be asked to leave. I sent the recent receipt from this week and if need be I can get what I have to to support proof I have been living here since October of 2021 Thank you ***** ***** ***************@yahoo.comBusiness response

On 11/24/2021 she was offered a total rate of 280/week. No taxes were charged. She is aware that her total price is 280/week for 2 occupants and a pet.
