      We have a service contract with this company and have used them many times. I had to chase them most of the day on thursday 6/16 and friday 6/17 just to get them to come out to look at our air conditioner which blew the inside control board causing us to have no power or air in the house. They came out and looked at the unit and determined we were correct, the control board was bad. While the technician was there our dog nipped at him not breaking skin but causing a bruise, our dog is vaccinated and up to date on all shots. He didn't even react and showed my husband his leg. They did not communicate with us that they would not be servicing our home any more or be ordering the control board after telling us they were ordering the control board. I had to call them to find this out today 6/20/2022

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/21) */ Our service technician got bit by the homeowner's dog while servicing the a/c system. He went to a minor emergency clinic to get treated and was put on two weeks of light duty due to the dog bite. He now cannot do his job until his injury is healed. Our office notified the homeowner that due to their dangerous dog; we have decided not to service the property. While at the property, he replaced a failed transformer, the charges for the transformer and service call totaled 291.40. This has not been billed to the homeowner. They did previously pay for a seasonal maintenance agreement in the amount of 235.00. We have canceled the remainder of the maintence agreement and applied the prorated portion to the current invoice which brings the total to 173.90, which we then wrote off the balance. A picture of the dog bit is attached. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They didn't even reach out to us to let us know they would not be servicing our home - and left us with the impression they would be ordering the parts as discussed. If I had not called the office to find out we would still not know. This is very poor business! Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/06/23) */ I do apologize for any delay in calling you back to notify you of the decision not to send another technician to your home. I don't think that decision had been made until after we received the report from the doctor that treated our technician. As far as the billing adjustment, that invoice has been voided since we weren't able to complete the job. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/06/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They are not accepting responsibility for the fact that they did not call me at all - I had to call them to follow up - what's wrong with this picture?
