I bought a curling iron, & decides I didn't need it. I returned the following day to return it, I had my receipt. I was told they don't take back electrical items - I flipped the receipt over showing this is incorrect - they do take curling irons within 60 days of purchase with the receipt -I asked to speak with the manager & was told she would not come out of the back office to speak with me. I don't even know what to say about that! Painfully disrespectful, poor customer service -Review from Lynda M

I am sorry I have to give this store any stars. The experience was extremely poor and even dangerous. My husband went in to purchase a traditional electric razor. He has a ********* like tremor in his hands. He had to give up shaving with a non -electric razor as he was cutting himself. He is on blood thinners and this is very dangerous. He told the salesperson in the store what he wanted. The salesman pulled out a Slimline 2 Trimmer. The salesman told my husband this was just like his razor. There was no showing of the product and explaining its use to this 80 year old man who has never seen any form of this product.He charged my husband $74.89 for the device. My husband got home and tried to use it. The device has a straight edge razor with a comb cover over it. My husband tried to shave with it. He was unable to control it or to shave. He was afraid he would cut himself with the exposed blade. He returned it to Sally's in ****************. The man said he could not get a refund because the device was not broken. ******** said the refusal for refunds was on the back of the receipt. The info on the back was in 2 different foreign languages but not in English. After studying the receipt intensely with a magnifying glass. I found it on the front with faded and extremely small print. Even the corporate office refused to acknowledge the extremely poor salesmanship and not paying any attention to safety for a frail elderly man. If he does not get a refund, he may have to use this device and risk his life in doing so.Review from Elizabeth S

I have actually shopped at Sally Beauty Supply for over 20 years in store, but my first online purchase, I received it with the hair dye with no lid on it, opened and all over every other product in the box also. It got all over my hands upon opening it too, because I didnt even think about hair dye being every where. I have went to the store twice, to get a refund, they told me they could inly give me store credit, this was after a few phone calls to the 800 #, and so I call them again demanding a refund and expressing my being upset over what I am having to go through for receiving my products in such shape. A CSR told me he was refunding my money finally, but then the next day, I received an email wanting pictures of my damaged items, emailed them the pics and have yet to hear back! This is ridiculous what I have had to go through when their ppl sent my stuff to me in the condition it was in! I just want my money back and have already unsubscribed from emails and texts from the company as a consumer. If I could leave pics and screenshots I would gladly attach them!Review from Heaven D

Absolute s***** management named ***** whole staff walked out because was lied to after manager was assaulted and lied to this place is not safe we were stolen from every day uncomfortable every day exposed to very harmful and scary situations, and we were given no security no help. No one listened to us, and when one of us finally got assaulted were fired for it. If you want to stay safe, please do not work at any of the Sallys specially the one on ***** and Central.Review from Leslie L

I bought several Skincare (LL) Cosmetic retinol products that I have used for years from Sally Beauty ****** and upon opening the seal on two of the retinol eye gels, the underside of the seal was covered in a black mildew/moldy like substance with some in the gel as well. I wrote to them as a long time customer questioning the safety of the product and received some short apologetic auto response, that was it - no offer of any kind of refund/credit. I should have read the reviews before EVER shopping here. Needless to say, I am no longer a customer.Review from Sarah S

This company is absolute trash. They sold me a defective item and will not replace or refund. They basically stole my money. I have done everything to get them to make it right but they refuse. Ive called multiple times with no call back. When I finally hit a response it was a crappy email that made no sense. This company is suppose to be in business to support cosmetology professionals but that is not the case at all. They have do nothing but taken my time and money and caused anxiety and stress.Review from Stephen L

Never bought the junk they peddle and never will. Someone opened an account and used my phone number and apparently are not paying their bills. Committy bank keeps calling me with no caller id and harassing me for payment. They have no problem discussing the account the account of someone else. Im filing a complaint with the attorney general of the state for whatever good that will do. But be aware they have no problem discussing other folks finances with anyone.Review from frances Z

This store has aa racist manager named ********. I was in the store in Sunday Dec 3rd at 535 pm. She was in the back office having her lunch while Me an and several white customers stood at the register waiting to ring out our purchases, and discussing the fact that no cashier was present for more than 30 minutes...she finished her lunch and came to the registers and said .. everyone is *********** a lunch..i asked her if her lunch supersedes customer service. She said " I am already having a bad day , so don't start" I then said, we are all having a bad day. just the drive over her was stressful but we cant let our bad days day interfere with engaging ppl its ur job. She then said i can trespass you from my store. i said , sure... after you ring up my purchases, she then said u can leave my store now.. or I will call the police. i stayed in line and she called the *********** and described me as a Black person who was causing problems. in her store and needed to be trespassed. After she rang up the three-white ppl, she refused to ring my purchase. i said ok, if u are not going to ring my purchase, i will wait outside for the ***********.. The d/n arrive so i drove to the next store on ****** to purchase the item. Later i called the *********** and they said they canceled the call bc i was not there when the finally arrived. The ***************** is pretty much the same. She refused to discuss the issue and supported her racist mgr. ********.Review from Megan A

Absolutely disgusting customer service my package was never shipped but they claim they cant help. Contacted multiple people and multiple agencies to no avail. Ruined my daughters birthday and I just asked for them to cancel the order resubmit it so it would arrive on time but they cant do that I suppose. So now Im out of ****** dollars and no product to show. They have excuse after excuse after excuse
