Ive been a Thrift Giant customer over the past year or so and visited the store at ***************************************************************** late last night before close. I found a necklace I liked that was gold with a silver clasp and ****** told me the dot had fallen off so I couldnt buy it that night, but if I could come back at 9 AM the following morning, the manager had told her she would set a price. I had a green dot stuck to my finger that mightve been what had fallen off. I showed up at 9 AM the following morning and the manager ******* told me she didnt know where it was even though ****** had locked it in the office and that she had put it in the back. Her eyes were fitting around and I knew she was lying, and she also said that she wasnt the manager, though all the employees state she is. I feel very strongly. There is a large amount of theft going on in the store, and that they told me to drive long distance round-trip for no reason and that somebody lied and now ******* says that ****** was lying. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Furthermore, most of the people here do not speak English and they do not want to help or communicate, and they are talking over me in Spanish in a panicked tone. As a consumer and somebody who has a very busy schedule and a lot on her plate, I am mortified that they are allowed to treat customers this way and point fingers at each other, with no clear intention other than to give misleading information and lie. I will also file with corporate and bring this to their attention. Customers should never be treated this way, and one Thrift Giant employee informed me that theft is rampant here, especially with jewelry.
