******************** and staff were very unsympathetic and did not give me all of my options for care for my sweet dog. I was told he would have a long road ahead of him and need extensive care. They list several treatments at the cost of $2800. I was given the choice of paying $2800 up front, go into $2800 of high interest debt, or surrender my dog so a rescue organization can pay the $2800. My dog need care so I was made to feel like I had to surrender him so he could get care that night. I am completely devastated by their greed. It was all about money!Review from Earl W

Our 8 year old Great **** was coughing up white foam. My vet was out of town and texted me the phone number for Denton County Animal ER. The person who answered the phone was very compassionate and told me to bring **** in. When we arrived, they immediately took her back. After they had taken x-rays and had the blood work results, the vet came in and explained everything in a very professional and compassionate manner. We had to leave **** overnight, but they took us back to see her before we left. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the area and the facilities. There were plenty of employees around, and one employee was actually sitting on the floor comforting a cat in one of the enclosures. When we picked up **** the next day, the vet again came in and explained all of the results and the medications. Although I hope we dont have any more emergencies, if our vet is unavailable, I will definitely take my animal to Denton County Animal ER.
