Not a customer for the ********************** that this person has filed a claim against.  This is the Byrider in ******, *****. This customer likely purchased her car from a ***** or Longview Byrider.  That is a different owner.  Further, the phone number given is incomplete.

I've had several repairs done on my 2011 Kia ******** The radiator needed to be replaced 4 to 6 months after i bought the car. 2 months after that I had to replace the radiator again. I was told by ****** the service manager that a rock hit the radiator and that's not under warranty so I had to pay another ****** to have that repaired Jd byrider had my car for a week. Fast forward 6 months later the transmission is gone. ****** told me it wasn't under warranty and that it was going to cost me around ****** to get fixed. When I called for status of my car I was told it would be 800 because something else was wrong but he wouldn't know until the transmission was broken down. I had to pay ****** to have my car towed home then another ****** to have it towed to JD byrider i had to car towed in on Monday 10/16. As of today 10/23 I still don't have my car. I made my car payment last Thursday. I'm never late with my car note. I also keep full coverage insurance. I've barely put 50 thousand miles on this car and I'm having so many issues. My wife is about to be fired from her job due to not having reliable transportation. This has truly left a bad taste in my mouth. I understand i bought a used car but I feel like I was sold a lemon due to all the issues I've had with this car. Jd byrider also has failed in the communication because they aren't talking to me. I have to call them to find out what's going on. this has been the worst experience I've had with this company. I'm not happy at all.

On 8-30-23 I attempted to purchase a car from JD Byrider. After 1 week I was told to bring the car back because the bank denied the loan. Truth is they tried to ******* additional monies from me and took the car. They also refused to refund my down payment which is for a car that was never funded by a bank according to them. Please assist me in obtaining my down payment back for a car that they claim was not funded by their bank. It seems as if they want to keep the down payment for themselves.

**************** purchased a car from Byrider on 8/30/2023.  **************** had a payment due to the finance company **** on 9/8/2023.  Customer failed to make the payment and failed to properly insure the vehicle.  The vehicle was repossessed on 9/12/2023.

Due to the change in condition of the vehicle upon repossession the customer did qualify to redeem the vehicle.  Had the customer maintained her insurance and made her payment as scheduled she would not have experienced loss of the vehicle.  The customer understood when her payment was due and that she had to properly insure the vehicle as expressed in the retail installment contract executed by both parties on the day of sale.

I am rejecting this response because:   The day payments was post to be made cash app system was down for a week and I contacted and spoke with a worker and she also responded she seen on the news that cash app was down and all customers are having problems with their cash app payments and she told me I could come in the next day but they closed by time I got off work which was at 5:30 and I had to drive all the way from ***** ** , I asked her if someone could stay there so I could make the payment she responded come in the morning which was 9/12/23 to make the payment cause they couldnt take payment over the phone Thursday morning a tow truck was taking the car and I was telling him ******* I believe is her name told me to come today when it opens he cursed me out and was harassing me as he proceeded to take the car .Then their excuse for taking it was I put **** miles on the car and there were far guts inside , but there were far guts and ******* wrappers in the vehicle when it was sold to me . I went to Carlot and we had a talk he told me that I could have the car back if I had my payment $350 + $56 for car insurance he then stated for me to go to my job to get another recent check stub after he sold me the car so I was confused, I took a Lyft to ***** to get my check stub and emailed it to the owner he had ******* reach out to me and say I couldnt get the car back I had to schedule a day to get my items out the vehicle and I went back and they told me the car was auctioned off and all of my items are in the vehicle also my kids birth certificate and social security cards and my son disability medicine and more important items that I needed .

The customer was given ample time to make her payment after the due date and failed to do so and at that point the car was repossessed.

The customer had another 2 weeks to redeem her personal belongings.  The customer was told when and where she could pick up her belongings and had told our representative that she would come to the store to pick them up but failed to appear or recontact us and update when she might be in.

I am rejecting this response because:   Car lot did not give me time to get my belongings because when it was taken from me they told me I can come up there to pay the note and I didnt have transportation I was spending $70 on Lyft to ride back and forth and if they knew they werent going to give it back the same day they told me to come up there and make my payment they should of gave me a chance to get my things out the car , instead the owner said he will go take a look at the car and come back they never gave me a chance to go look at my own car or get my belongings out . I dont even think the car was ever there after the tow man picked it up .

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/12) */ Customer signed a finance application that authorizes our company to pull the customers credit. On the application the customer is asked for their social security number. Our company can not pull credit without a social security and authorization from the customer. If the customer does not recall signing the application we can provide if necessary. Customer also gave us proof of income in connection with the finance application that is required to obtain financing. Our business finds it strange that the customer willingly provided us with her social security number and proof of income but somehow didn't understand when signing a credit application that she was authorizing us to pull her credit.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/07) */ Customer purchased a car from Byrider on 12/14/2021. The vehicle was repossessed on 2/26/2022 for non payment and failure to maintain the required insurance. The customer purchased the car a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu with 140,525 miles. The car was repossessed with 151,000 miles. We Believe it is difficult to argue the car was unreliable based solely on the miles driven. Based on the above referenced we consider this matter closed.

This car company is selling broke cars and saying that they are good reliable cars. My little brother (Sam Ladmirault) purchased a car from this place May 2021 by putting a $1000 down for the car and making a payment of 195 biweekly. He has had this car for 7 months and it has broken down 5 times since the second week of purchaseing the car. Every time the car breaks he takes it to them and they keep the car for 3 weeks and tells him they dont do loaner cars all the while still paying a car note. When this company keeps the car for 3 weeks at a time my brother has to use an uber to and from work which is about $35 aday. Now whats the purpose of buying a car if one still has to use uber majority of the time hes had the car. We have talked to them a a number of times and still no help of any kind. My little brother would like to give the car back but he is afraid of what giving the car back would do to his credit. Can some one please help us with this issue. To this day the car has been in their shop for two weeks.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/28) */ We have responded to this complaint and dealt directly with the customer who has the vehicle with our company. The person filing this complaint did not buy a car from our dealership therefore it is impossible for us to resolve an issue we do not have with her. Thanks.

I had purchased a 2010 bmw 528i back in March and been paying the car note every two weeks $210 I had liability on the car it was a $47 protection insurance that the car lot had which i was paying it..but i wanted to put full coverage on the car..i never missed a payment. So i stopped the 47$ protection coverage .i missed 2 payments ..the car lot took my car note money and paid the insurance..which showed i was behind 92$..i have direct deposit so my car no money comes straight out my account..So the car lot put a repo on my car.. I had liability on the car when they came and told you my car was in my backyard 5206 Galaxy Road in the driveway sideways the car was yanked out the driveway which caused damage to the car abs lights and now check engine light the car dont drve the same.. the told me I tried to get my car Thursday the day before and stole my phone ..i had to go to Carrollton to get it..plenty more to this..

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/17) */ On March 1, 2021 *** ****** purchased a vehicle from Byrider in Desoto, Texas. At the time Mr. ****** signed a retail installment contract on a 2010 BMW 528 with agreement to pay on his vehicle for 99 bi-weekly payments of $210.07 and also to insure the vehicle with comprehensive and collision coverage with a $500 deductible or less. If Mr. ****** did not comply with this requirement he was told that he would be responsible to pay the finance company (CNAC) in addition to his bi-weekly payment a $46 for Collateral Protection Insurance to cover the vehicle for comprehensive and collision insurance. On March 26, 2021 Mr. ****** elected to pay the Collateral Protection coverage in lieu of getting his own full coverage insurance and naming CNAC as a loss payee in the event of a wreck, collision etc. Mr. ****** continued to pay the additional $46 through July 2, 2021 along with his contractual payment. Mr. ****** then failed to make the additional payment of $46 on July 16 and 30th and failed to provide the finance company with proof of insurance that the car was "fully" insured as required by the retail installment contract. After several attempts to reach Mr. ****** the car was repossessed for failure to maintain full coverage insurance on August 6, 2021. When the car was repossessed the ABS light was triggered because not all four tires were rolling during the repossession. Before Mr. ****** redeemed his vehicle the ABS was restored to its pre-repossession condition. Further, neither the repossession company or the finance company removed any personal belongings from the vehicle post repossession. The vehicle was redeemed by Mr. ****** and he paid his insurance requirement post repossession. The car was repossessed in conjunction with the retail installment contract and default under failure to maintain proper insurance coverage therefore there is no grounds for refund or expungement from the credit report. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/08/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The reason i agree is because the car was at thae same house address regardless if insurance was on the car or not the car was parked and no keys inside.. The business did not call me nor my job.. The car liability on it at the time the car company picked the car up..i was in process of getting full coverage at the time ..i made a payment on friday and Saturday i was going to change it over they repossessed the car..that is very wrong over 92 dollars with the car company is puttin a repo of later car payment..with is wrong...
