I noticed that my ex and in law was using my bank card number to open up cash app accounts and I went to the police station to file a police report and press charges so that way I was reimbursed the money from my bank like it should be done and the bank tellers were telling me that they will not help me because I wasn't supposed to give anybody my card number but I've never asked for any reimbursement any disputes nothing like that and I've been thinking with him for 20 years but because it was over $6000 in three months they don't wanna pay me backBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/09/13) */ This customer gave the information necessary to access their account to the person they are now accusing of taking money from the account. They had been told multiple times cash app charges wouldn't be disputed and to quit giving the account information out to anyone. We will not be able to give back money taken from the account due to the fact that the customer gave their information to the person they are now accusing of stealing money from the account. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2022/09/19) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I don't agree with this it shouldn't matter who I gave permission to use my card once . It should only matter that they used it again and again after that one time without my permission! Now the credit union takes away my debit card without advising me first. Big inconvenience since I have a few bills that get paid with the debit card only. And it feels as though the credit union employees I've felt with are letting their personal judgment cloud their professional judgment.
