I was told that I had a leak in my transmission.I was informed that the leak was coming from my trans seal. It woul cost 895.00 plus the price of fluids witch is higher than other places but cool. I asked the clerk who called me that was they sure this would fix my problem she informed it would ...Only to be contacted a week later saying now it would cost me 2300 to fix my car I was told wrong. So I stated I need my car back and fix for the price I was told .I was told ok only to be called back and told now I need a starter..I brought my car there for trans work only.It drove in and should drive out....I was informed I owe almost 1400 dollars 250 for fluid which only cost 70 dollars...and the car has the same problem I brought it in for....These people have several complaints about trying to confiscate cars..For none payment...If my car has the same problem I should not owe for there incorrect diagnostic test.this has been over a month process,,,,,

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/10) */ Customer towed his 2010 Ford Fusion to our shop, with the complaint that his car had a leak. INSPECT & DIAGNOSE (FREE) Our technician drove the vehicle and found: The front breaks and rotors were bad. The transmission was leaking out the front. Vehicle was scanned and has a code for the catalytic converter. Our Manager informed the Customer that the vehicle was inspected, scanned and driven and the problems that were found. Customer only wanted the leak fixed. Customer was given a price of $895.00: for the transmission removal and replacement. + Cost of seal and synthetic fluid. Customer was informed that we would not know what we would find until the transmission was pulled. Customer gave us the ok to start work. The transmission was removed. The front seal was leaking and needed to be replaced, the pump and torch converter also needs to be replaced. The seal is in between the pump and torch converter. The pump is causing the seal to leak Customer was advised of what was found. Customer advised us that he only wanted the seal replaced. We advised the customer that we could not guaranty the front seal would not leak. After finishing the repair, the seal still leaks. Customer did not drive his vehicle to our shop, he towed it in. (Starter was bad and was fixed at no cost to customer). Customer wants us to replace the pump and torch converter for free. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/11/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I did tow my car there( I own tow truck) because I had no rider.Car was running only had a leak Shop stated in there response that they drove car Car will not start if started was bad .....They did not replace starter was told stater wire broke off while they was removing Transmission...This place is a rip off ...They also stated I was told my seal was leaking only to be told car is still leaking and I owe 1390 FOR WHAT!!!!!!! Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/11/22) */ During removal of the transmission the wire broke off the starter. We replaced the starter at no cost to the customer. Starter was worn (parts don't last forever). The seal is still leaking because the pump needs to be replaced. The pump is rubbing on the seal making it leak. Customer did not want to pay for replacing the pump and converter to fix his car. He only wanted his seal replaced. Customer declined the work we recommended to stop leak. Customer was told there was NO WARRANTY. Customer still wanted us to replace the seal. See attached invoice for what you owe and need to pay. See attached picture of customers Starter. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/11/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) i will file lawsuit

I had my 2004 mercedes S430 dropped of for a free diagnosis. I was never told any work was performed or any balance. When I got a call to pick up the car I was told I owed 600 dollars and nothing was done to the car with my authorization. I asked Tommy why was there worked performed without my authorization. He began to get an attitude saying he will keep my car until its paid.

      Business response

      02/04/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/09) */ Mr. ***** brought his 2004 Mercedes 5430 to our shop on 11/22/2021, with the complaint that the shifter was stuck in drive. Our technician checked the shifter and found that it was stuck in drive and the shifter was partially torn down. Mr. ***** was advised that the shifter would have to be replaced and reprogrammed. Mr. ***** did not want us to get the new shifter, he would buy the part and bring it to us. Mr. ***** provided a used shifter. He was told that the installation would cost $340.00 and the reprogramming would be an outside service cost of $400.00. Mr. ***** gave us the ok to install the shifter and send it to be reprogrammed. The shifter was installed and sent to the programmer. The programmer spent 3 hours trying to program the shifter to the vehicle and was not able to program it (charging us $250.00 for 3 hours of there time), they advised that the Dealership would need to install a new shifter and program it. Mr. ***** was told that he needed to take it to the Dealer. He said ok but he didn't want to pay for the services that were done. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/12/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I never agreed to any cost. I was never told about any cost until picking up the vehicle. I have phone records to prove no conversion was had with cookson transmission. I dropped the car off and I was out of town the sameday.
