      I have been attempting to reach the Office Manager, Cathy, since March 16th. I have called several times to inquire about the credit to be refunded to my credit card. I have been told that she is either at conferences, in consultations, or will return my phone call. I have yet to receive a phone call and would like my credit to be refunded to the card used for services that were not rendered after all. I have not received a call back as promised and this issue has been a pressing matter since mid March.

      2/15/23 - Wife visited the office for a consultation and to obtain pricing for potential dental work. 2/17/23 - I receive a phone call from ********* Bank asking if I applied for a CareCredit Card and spent over $12,000 at Lakes Dental. I informed them that I have never applied for anything. ********* has frozen that account and is not researching the fraudulent activity. They knowingly submitted my information without my signature, consent, or knowledge. My wife never received any services past the initial visit.

      Good Afternoon , We have tried several times to reach you. I do not understand why no calls have been returned . We want to resolve this issue but can not if you are not willing to speak with our office manager. You left a a bad review , I responded to your review and yet to have any communication with you or your wife who is the patient. Please call me to 956-688-6000

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  

      A representative called from the dental office who was very rude and blamed me for them opening an account with my information without my signature or consent. They misled my wife and asked her to provide MY social security number,  "ONLY to prepare a quote of services" that would occur over several months time, instead they opened a medical care credit card in my name, even though I've never been in their office. She was rude and yelled at me on the phone.

      Yes, they claimed they called me dozens of times, but I have no missed calls or voicemail messages from them. Last time I spoke with them, she said she would send some form via email for my wife to sign, never received, and they would refund the amount they charged to that credit card that I don’t know how to access, since I didn’t open it.

      I called Matthew ******* on 03/14/2023 , and after speaking to the patient , the agreement was that he did not want his wife doing the dental treatment and did not want the charges to the account that was open for his wife Tiffany. I explained to the patient that we tried multiple times to call Tiffany and Matthew so we could resolve the matter. The account was cancelled , refunded back the charge and as per Matthew's request , Tiffany was to be removed from our office active patient list.

      I was seen on **** for what I thought was a cleaning appointment. The office began to run test after test without informing me on costs, if any. During consultation I was informed Id be paying $*** for todays visit. After looking into the bill further, one item was not a service provided to/for me. After getting clarification, the extra charge was removed . My receipt stated $**. Later that day, my bank statement showed the total $***. They overcharged without my consent or knowledge. After reading reviews on google, it seems like they do this more often than not.
