A hailstorm in 2022 on the westside occurred with damage to my home. I hired Rivas Roofing, who had stated they would be able to assist in all damages to my home. My garage door was needing to be replaced. As the garage was outsourced, the person who replaced my garage door did not complete the job correctly. The door doesn't stay closed, and I was then told I needed to add siding to my garage opening in order for it to close. I questioned this as my previous door did not have any issues closing and staying closed and sealed. Two of my window screens have not yet been replaced. I have been told multiple times they are working on it, however when screens were delivered, they were 2 inches too short and the wrong color. I have yet to receive any. I paid the amount needed from the insurance and yet I still have not received a second opinion on my garage door as I was promised and again, I still have 2 screens missing. All this from over 1.5 years ago.Initial Complaint

I had an insurance claim for a **** replace**nt and interior damage repair. I hired Rivas Construction in August of 2021 and as of *** ti** of this complaint (March 26, 2023) all work has not been completed. I was coerced to pay in full in May 202* (over $44,000) before all work was completed and **** been ignored for *** last month (and many previous ti**s) when trying to get information on when repairs will be scheduled and completed. I would like ***m to finish *** job that is remaining (fix property damage ***y inflicted when installing flashing, stucco over *** flashing, paint **** tiles, and finish *** rock wall repair) or refund ** *** amount required to hire so**one else for ***se tasks. I can provide more supporting docu**nts such as pay**nt amounts/dates, etc. if needed. ***re are many additional complaints that **** occurred throughout this entire process and I **** attached an in-depth explanation in supporting docu**nts, but *** main points include: 1) Communication is poor - Multiple ignored **ssages and many cancellations, rescheduling, and no shows 2) Does not complete *** work ***y were contracted and paid to do 3) I was misled multiple ti**s 4) Will not provide a receipt or any o***r requested paperwork (receipts, warranties, insurance supple**nts, write-up of what was installed on your ****) 5) ***** **** ******** ****** ** * ******** **** ***** ********* *** **** - ******* ******** ****** ******** ********* ** ******** **** ** Takes forever to get anything done - You must follow up multiple ti**s to make sure it does get done, and ***re are quality of work concerns 7) Lack of confidence in *** quality of *** **** installation. Ano***r ****er who installs *** sa** product inspected *** **** and had many critiques of *** work and said it would cost approximately $4,000-$5,000 to re**dyBusiness response
