Hired this law firm for an adjustment of status as well as petition for a relative on April 14th, 2022. ***** one of the representatives of this firm said that it will be quick to fill out packet and send it right away to USCIS. They assigned ***** to our case. On the week of may the 15th she said the packet was ready and that she will forwarded to one of the lawyers. On may the 16 we finish paying off the balance and the immigration forms as well. One week passed and no updated. We contacted her and she said the lawyer was in vacation. One week later on the week of May the 30 we called the office and staff member said ***** no longer work there that ************************* was going to take over our case. He call on the 31st and introduce himself. One week pass and no update. We call and he said he was looking over it that he was going to work on the applications. Another week passed and he told me the same thing. Today June the 27 we called again and he said that he was working on it that he would let us know when it was ready. We ask for an estimated time and he refuse to tell us. To this point it has already been more than 2 months and we haven't seen or heard that the applications are ready. I don't know if its retaliation because i call to much or because we already paid everything upfront that they are leaving us to last. We do feel demoralized because we feel that they lied to us. We honestly feel stress and anxious because we don't know when will the packet be ready, if ***** said it was already ready since May 15th then why are we still waiting to long. I hope through this mean we could get help and have our paperwork send to USCIS as soon as possible.
