SYC Premier construction was contracted for a complete kitchen remodel, flooring, and paint with the oversight and design provided by Urban Oak and per contract was to be made per this design. The quality of work and communication were severely lacking and every conversation with this company was met with gaslighting my spouse, excuses that were not pertinent to the problem, inaccurate measurements and failure to follow the design provided from Urban Oak. Original contract is way past the completion date with still a unfinished kitchen and improper design and cabinet faces. When presented with the problem they continued to ask for more money to fix avoidable mistakes and even once paid still had no window of completion or if it was possible. Counter tops were also improperly installed and rushed with haphazard planning and cuts. Workers would come on a last minute schedule despite communicating different times and were never informed on what work needed to be done and were managed improperly. The time and loss of having a fully functional kitchen per contract has let to emotional and financial stress as well. Communications for resolution was provided and denied to complete the kitchen to standard. SYC Construction also claims to be licenses and bonded, but when checked with ***** TDRL and with ******* county they are currently not licensed, insured, or bonded which leads to questionable fraud of services and mistrust upon false advertising. Contractor has taken multiple jobs with ours which are also at risk as well to having similar insurance and quality control issues. The overall quality of work is not what was advertised during initial contract and interactions and communication at this point is non-existent to work through a resolution to complete the kitchen. I request my initial resolution clause be honored to fix the damages to repair and complete the kitchen to the industry standard. I have carefully reviewed the complaint regarding the kitchen remodel project contracted with SYC Premier Construction. I must clarify that Mr. *********;Ravas assertions are inaccurate and misrepresent our company's commitment to quality and customer service.
I have always strived to maintain open lines of communication throughout the project. I have diligently addressed any concerns or questions raised and I regret if there were any misunderstandings or misinterpretations during these conversations. Gaslighting or intentionally dismissing their concerns is not in line with our professional approach to customer service.
Regarding the measurements and design provided by Urban Oak, we have adhered to the specifications outlined in the contract to the best of our ability. We ensure that our work aligns with the intended design. If there have been any discrepancies, we would have appreciated a more detailed discussion during the project to rectify them promptly.
I understand that delays can be frustrating, and I apologize if the completion date exceeded his expectations. However, it is important to note that unexpected challenges and unforeseen circumstances can arise during a remodel, which may impact the project timeline. I always strive to keep my clients informed about any delays and to provide realistic estimates for project completion. Any requests for additional funds were made in response to unforeseen expenses or changes in scope, and they were communicated and discussed with him in a transparent manner.
Regarding the countertops, we take quality seriously and ensure that all installations meet the highest standards. I regret that Mr. Rava is unsatisfied with this aspect of our work and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Regarding his concerns about licensing, insurance, and bonding, I can assure you that we are in compliance with all applicable regulations. We hold the necessary licenses and insurance. I regret any confusion and I have attached the relevant documentation to verify our credentials.
I am committed to continuing to provide quality construction services. Mr. *********;requested that I reimburse him $??? And that is something I am not able to do.

Contracted in Oct 2020 for large remodel of home. Work started on Dec 21, 2020.Contract stared 3-5 months to completion. We are now 9 months into this project and there is still a large list of 20 or more items still needing to be completed. **************** said it would be like two weeks to complete this work back in the first week of August. Since that date only 3 tasks have been completed. He requested we cover the additional cost to construction due to covid and increases of supplies. I will not pay anymore since he breeched our verbal contract. I want my remodel completed ASAP. We have been more than patient, understanding, and cooperative. I have emails and texts confirming that they needed to get done.Business response

We are doing our best to finish the pending details at your house, our carpenters also are working hard to deliver but they had a delayed on materials but regarding we are doing the last bathroom vanity, that was updated.
