Purchased vehicle: 2021 Audi q3 2016 with ***** miles on it. The dealer sold the vehicle for ****** and an additional extended warranty for nearly 3k. Before I sign my contract I requested the mechanic inspect the vehicle for any major mechanicals issues that the vehicle might have, they told me the vehicle was good and I had nothing to worry about. Fast forward, after driving about ***** miles on the vehicle, the engine fails. I went to the shop to get the situation sorted out but they dismissed me.Initial Complaint

Purchase a 2015 ***** suburban on 9/8/2021 14 days later 9/22/2021 the engine failed I decided to take it back to them they informed me that they would take a look at it and then contact me and inform me of the outcome . 3 days later **** one of their workers called me back stating that the vehicle was ready and that owed them $1300.00 I was never informed that i was going to get charged for the repair on vehicle that has just bought from them a few days before I was also never approved the repairs due to the dealership never called me to inform me any charges that I had to pay. They failed to notify me of any charges!Business response

To whom it may concern *************************** bought the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban, the regular price was $32,995 We did a discount of $6,068.77, which brings the vehicle down to $26,926.23 sale price + TT&L and like we do to all of our customers we offered a service contract which he did declined.
********************** brings the vehicle to MELENDEZ AUTOMOTIVE AND HD TRUCK SERVICE CENTER, because of check engine light came on, customer said the engine is bad and he wanted fixed no matter what. It turns out that the engine was not bad at all we only had to replace lifters, we gave a discount to ********************** for the inconvenience of $179.90 .

The transaction of the vehicle has nothing to do with the complaint infact I was really happy that I was able to buy my third vehicle from you guys. The complaint is about the way you guys handled the situation after the vehicle failed I repeat my self, I was never informed of any charges of the repairs that got performed to the vehicle I truly believe that all costumer should be informed prior the repair including any charges. I as a costumer should agree to the repairs performed to my vehicle prior the repair including charges!
