I booked a service for a responsible ride into Dallas for birthday celebrations and while we received the ride portion, we did not receive the responsible portion nor did we receive air conditioning on a 100 degree day. The company had cut out a portion of one of their bus seats and installed a portable air conditioner which did not cool the bus and the driver lied about the air conditioning not working, as did the owner when I discussed it with him the next day as he would not contact me back during our trip I had reserved. The driver was kind, however he smelled of marijuna and texted while driving which caused quite a bit of swerving on the road. We felt very unsafe in this vehicle, not to mention uncomfortable with no air conditioning. The owner offered a discount when we first spoke on the subject to make up for the awful experience but then later that day, at midnight, sent me a threatening text that he would be filing charges against me if I didn't pay the original full price quoted and that he had to stop people from shooting up my house for non payment. I paid the second portion I owed per our phone conversation but I received a letter a few days later in the mail stating I still owed more or charges would be filed, on top of accusations of me ignoring him and being racist. I paid the amount the owner demanded fearing for my family and I's lives as the owner and driver know where we live and having received threatening texts, emails and a letter to my home address, our safety was not worth the fight over money. However, I am sharing my experience everywhere possible as I highly suggest avoiding this company and the experience it will provide. The driver's name that night was Adam. Adam's mother was deported when he was 11 years old and he's has been working for me every since that day. I've watched this young man put his self through high school and college while also sending money to Mexico to care for his sick mother.
The night of this event our main party bus broke down and the engine was overheating. SO I immediately contacted the client and gave her two options. We can cancel your booking and I will return your $ or we can send you our backup bus which doesn't have the best AC. Being that her booking was in the evening the The client's exact words to me were, " i dont care as long as we get there on time and safe.' This was the 1st time anything like this has ever happened to us but thank God we had a back up plan.
I even offered her a discount for the inconvenience.
So we proceeded with the reservations. Adam showed up 30min early. The client enjoyed her boking so much that she went over her 8hours. And No we did not even charge her for that time. The client didnt have one complaint that entire 9 hours until it was time to pay. We even have pictures and snapchat videos of the night and they were very drunk and even threw up on my bus. At the end of the night the client felt as if she didnt have to pay anything, and she didnt. She told my driver Adam to kiss her tail and she left the bus without paying. Adam called me crying in disappointment and Thats wrong to use our services for 9 hours and not expect to pay us for our time. Gas is expensive and we drove over 300miles that night. The young man got you safely to each destination. SO I called the police and they made her pay us. Thats really why she is mad and made this report.
This is a real life Karen. I try my best to make all of my clients happy but unfortunately you have entitled people that take your kindness for a weakness.
Im a young man just trying to make our community safe for us all to live in. Only a Karen would want me to go out of business.
Karen Did you know that All of my employees work for the salvation army and the boys n girls club. Nonprofits dont pay their employees much. I cant tell you how many great employees ive seen leave us because of the pay. So i created this company as an avenue to pay them what their worth and they stop leaving us.
I also started 287ExpressTransportation to help raise $ to help keep teens off the streets. Every $ we earn goes towards the uplifting of our community. I don't pocket anything nor am I in business for my own personal gain. This was our 1st negative review in 4 years of doing business. Business has not slowed down one bit. The community believes in us and we will continue to provide the best services that we can possibly provide.Customer Response

The very unprofessional response from the business owner speaks for itself. There are layers of lies in this response but to point out a few; there was never any communication from the owner regarding the broken AC system, literally none. I have phone records to prove this. The only person who contacted me prior to our trip was the driver asking how to get to my address because he was lost and nothing was mentioned regarding the AC. In fact he lied when we questioned the heat upon entering the bus, stating he had turned it off when he stopped for gas and that it should cool off once we got going. I texted ******, the owner, the minute we realized the bus was not cooling off, which was at 17:49, exactly 19 minutes after our reservation was booked. He did not respond until 15:03 the very next day as we were of no concern to him the night of our event. The driver also told me all night he was unable to reach the owner, which is why I refused to pay the remaining balance that evening, until the owner contacted me. Additionally, there was absolutely no vomiting as we are adult women who yes made the most of an awful situation by listening to music (on a broken system) while chatting and chugging what little water we had left in the cooler we brought (as most other limo companies provided water with their services, we were told to bring our own in this bus) to stay cool in the very hot non-air conditioned bus, but I guarantee there was zero vomiting. If there are pictures and snapchat videos that were taken of us "enjoying ourselves on the bus", they were not only illegally obtained, but had to have been taken by the driver while he was driving which would explain the swerving he was doing that is part of my complaint.
Calling me a *****, lying of the events that happened and using his "Godly services provided to youth" as an excuse for not providing a service I paid for, is appalling and the reason I have gone to such lengths to get the word out about his "services", hoping to avoid anyone else to go through a similar situation.
Finally; to this business owners lies, I want to reiterate that I have texts, a mailed letter and many emails to prove that he did not offer me a discount. I in fact paid for the full fees he quoted originally on July 11th at 17:36 via email, he threatened my home being shot up, therefore my family and myself as well as went as far as to call me a racist via email and now a "*****" which is also along the lines of racism and just ignorant. He never once owned up to the faults of his bus repairs that were needed or the bus driver putting our lives in danger by driving recklessly and under the influence of an illegal drug. ****** ******** of 287 Transportation in Ennis, TX is very unprofessional and again, his response to my review shows that in all its glory.
