My husband and I married 3/2020. We decided to have a big ceremony 9/2021. We got a wedding planner, which she used Chef in Heelz. Horrible choice. Fast forward, we had a tasting at our wedding planner home (I think it was in July) with Ashonti where we sampled different foods. We agreed upon the menu as well as minor tweaks to the flavor and what I expected the day of our big day. Our wedding day is here. The food was horrible, rushed, cold and *****!! We even had a kids menueven that was horrible. The kids complained!! I swear she went to ******* and purchased pre-made food. There were no extras for the salad as we discussed previously. Only water. I was soooo upset and embarrassed because catering is a major expense, outside of the venue. The next day, my husband and I went to the the wedding planner home where we debriefed. Of course the catering was my only complaint. I emailed her several times to no avail. I even found her on Instagram. The pictures of her catering events on IG was NOTHING like my wedding so I messaged her, sent pictures of the area they used to serve food and I was blocked. My wedding planner is trying to make it right, but itll never be enough. I would never recommend her, EVER.

I feel like had we been chosen as your caterer at first and had truly enough time to prepare for your big day we would of totally knocked it out the park. You contacted us less than *************************************************************************************************************** half. With a pandemic and Inflated pricing and short staff we accommodated you to the best of our ability with a. Huge smile and eagerness to tackle the job.I do agree that some parts of the service was not so great such as needing more staff to serve your 300 guest and a correct time that everything was starting. We felt we had more time to prepare for appetizer and dinner and everything was pushed up by 20-30mins which did impact our quality control. The first round of food that went out my was not the hottest but looked amazing. Everyone at the wedding raved of how great the food was and lots came back for seconds. We also have booked a few private parties from people that attended the wedding and liked the food. I have provided pics and videos to the wedding on my page and in contact with you. Im sorry I couldnt refund you the whole catering amount maam. As mentioned with staff, inflation, catering rentals and so many other things I maxed out on this wedding and didnt make anything. I truly appreciate this review and look forward to being able to navigate better in business. As well to know when not to accept bookings that dont serve me and my team. Blessings to you!
