Hired this company to clear land based on an ad they ran where the land is completely cleared and mulched down. They were running a special of $1000 for 8 hours and up to 2 acres cleared this way per day. On 1/24 they sent someone to complete the job. When he arrived, I showed him everywhere I wanted cleared and told him we expected heavy rain. I asked if he could clear everything I asked for. He told me yes he could get it done. I had to leave to an appointment and my husband paid him. I came home to areas not cleared at all, areas not cleared up like the photos, and deep ruts all over my property. When I contacted the company (about week later due to illness) they got ugly with me, telling me that I paid for an 8 hour rough cut and since the worker was there 8 hours that I was SOL. Then, offered to come "make it pretty" like I originally wanted only if I paid the fee again. This seems a little bit wrong, to advertise in photos & accept jobs based on these photos, then clear to that. When a complaint came in, it is easiest to blame it on the customer who "didn't understand" what she was buying. I believe this is false advertisement. All I wanted was the under 2 acres cleared like the photos showed and they will not make it right. They took my money and blamed their errors on me not understanding when they had posted clear photos for customers to see sample work. Blamed it on his manager service, on me, anyone but them so he gets his money and doesn't have to fix. There was a few messages on ******** but the majority of what was expected was verbal. I don't know if y'all can help but they took advantage of ******* isn't right.
