This company broke my sprinkler system and would not fix it and didn't finish the work because my system was broken. I replaced the fuse and noticed a sprinkler zone that was working before was no longer working. The company says they will fix it if I buy a new system. This is FRAUD. There was nothing wrong with my system before they came and they messed up a zone that had no issues and they won't fix it. They took my money and broke my system. I feel like they did it on purpose to make me buy a new system which has been a complaint before.Initial Complaint

J Bell Services provided landscaping and irrigation services for this *** townhome community from April 2022 thru March 2022. During this period J Bell invoiced the HOA in excess of $25.0 for irrigation repair ONLY yet during their contract period at least 25% of the irrigation system did not operate. Invoice no. ***** service date 9/10/21, invoice date 9/15/21 in the amount $2250.00 was for sprinkler repair ($1500.00) and installation of solar controller in section 7 ($750.00). In a recent meeting with our current landscape company it was brought to our attention section 7 does NOT have a solar controller. We were invoiced for work which was not done. On 8/26/22, our Property Manager emailed Dalton *******, Director of Operations requesting refund for the solar controller. Mr. ******* has never replied.Initial Complaint

Company came out which was $100 fee to assess the issue for sprinkler repair that is applied to work if I move forward...then provided a estimate...see screenshot attached for 2 hours of labor, locator fee at$85 (which I agreed to despite finding it odd that I thought that's what the $100 fee was for), 1 valve replacement OR 1 slip fix (on estimate they put both but assured me it would be 1 or the other) and replace wire connection....so expected bill was to be around $450-$510... See paid invoice where they charged additional .5 hour of labor, both valve replacement and slip fix, 5 nozzles, sprinkler head, and for programming the control box. Unfortunately, since they took longer than they expected, I had to leave and left my credit card with a friend to pay them....I didn't review what the charge would be my friend and authorized to give a 15% tip thinking they would do a good job...my friend didn't check their work and went ahead and paid them the new invoice charge of $791.26 with tip. I'm really upset that they could be so dishonest, felt like I was taken advantage of for not being there myself. In addition, they left a mess with plants they pulled up and left the old parts they took out (sprinkler heads and wiring) all over my yard. Called to reconcile and they sent some nice guys out who cleaned up the yard of the old parts left behind, buried some wiring that was still exposed, and fixed the plants that were in disarray but they didn't address the discrepancies between line item charges.
