      I had an MRI completed by this company in June 2023 and now 8 months later I received a bill for ****** for the dye injection which was covered by my insurance. I even have a statement with a zero balance from them. This is shady business practice.

      We are so sorry you are experiencing this. Your payment to us is truly all inclusive and this looks like a billing error from the imaging center.

      Can you please reach out to our customer service line at ************ and let them know that you received this bill. They should be able to get in touch with the imaging center and have the bill zeroed out.

      Billing errors like these happen from time to time however we stand by our program and will fix the issue fairly quickly. You shouldn't have to pay anything extra when you use our program.

      Radiology Assist states that an appointment will be scheduled within **** hours after receiving the referral. I paid the $40 and received the referral. It is now days later and I still have no appointment scheduled for an urgent matter. I submitted the request online and called, only to be told that "they are working on it." It would be nice to have an update on what's going on, whether the imaging center is booked up or maybe they deprioritize the low-cost cash patients. The company is not being transparent and I feel swindled for $40 for a referral that I cannot even use to get my actual imaging done.

      Patient was notified that imaging center was requesting certain clinical notes/labwork to schedule the study. Patient acknowledged and we are now waiting to receive the information to move forward. 

      The clinical notes/labwork request was not from RadiologyAssist, it was from the imaging center and the patient would encounter this request no matter which provider they went to.

      This company is scamming several people including me! They do not have a legitimate doctor or provider to offer a referral for imaging. I also canceled before I was given a fake referral, which was "refundable."

      On March 7, 2023 I Ordered imaging through them (CT). I did not get an order until 3/9/23. They ordered an MRI instead of a CT, which costs more. I was fine with this and went ahead and paid for the **** Then they contacted me and said the facility radiologist needed MRI with and without contrast, which again would cost more. I then requested a refund for imaging and consult given they ordered the wrong test to begin with. They stated they cant provide a refund for consult given they gave me an order, despite being the wrong order.

      Hi ******. We understand the frustration but this is correct.
      The doctor ***** write you the wrong order. They wrote you an order for what is medically necessary in their opinion. They should also provide you an explanation.

      What is the point of getting a lower cost CT if its not the right test for what you need?

      RadiologyAssist is indifferent to what test is scheduled. We only go by whats on the doctors order.

      I can understand the provider thinking other imaging may be warranted than what was requested. However, the provider should also know what testing is required for the diagnosis he is using. He ordered an MRI Brain without contrast as that is what he thought was needed instead of the ** ordered. However, his diagnosis actually required MRI Brain with and without contrast. Given this is what you advertise I would think the ordering provider should know what test to order.

      Also, there was absolutely no "consult" at all. You also said yourself they should have explained. Whats the point of using paying for a consult if there isnt one?

      I had an ultrasound appointment scheduled and SERVICE PAID through Radiology assist. Since I was in a rush (I'm having a liver abscess) I didn't choose a medical facility. They sent me the exact address and I drove there. My appointment was November 14th, 2022. Today is November 21st, 2022. The medical facility still didn't faxed the results to my doctor despite I I was told by the ultrasound technician it would be ready next day. Since that we contacted the medical facility (myself and the doctor's office) multiple times and left multiple messaged begging the results (!). I had to reschedule my gastroenterologist appointment already twice. It's really hard to get one since an average wait time is 1 month. Radiology assist team (we spoke to 3 different people) refused both to help me to get the results form the medical facilty and to schedule another appointment for free. They said I paid them for scheduling an appointment. But I actually paid for full service including medical procedure (I have a proof of coverage). At the end they just hang up on me. None of their representatives gave me their name. While being in a rush due to bad liver abscess I just wasted my money and the most important time (!!! it's extremely critical with this health condition!!!). I paid for service. Not for just an appointment. I attach proof of service.

Every imaging center behaves a little bit differently with their process and timeline to provide reports. In this case, because the provider was unable to render a report to you at all, we have gone ahead and provided you a full refund.

      I am the surviving widow ***** ******* of my husband who is now deceased. In my bank payments I had 2 accounts for the same radiology, and I paid them both resulting in overpayments starting in May 2020. I have contacted the company numerous times and is told the account is in review or the refund will be in the mail at the end of the month. Gulf Coast Radiology P O Box 205214 Dallas, Texas 75320 acknowledges a refund of $1435.13 is due account number #RPH XXXXXXX.

We do not have this patient on file in any of our records and do not have any records of payments being made to us. We checked quite thoroughly by name, phone, address and dollar amount paid but could not find you or your husband on record. Also the account number does not follow the format our organization uses. The RadiologyAssist program does have a Gulf Coast Radiology participating in our program but we are not actually Gulf Coast Radiology. I'm sorry and I do hope that you receive the refund you are entitled to. You can also call us at 855-346-5152 at any time so that an representative can explain to you in further detail.

      On Feb 21, 2022, I ordered an X-ray of the foot for a patient with an injured foot. Radiology Assist had advertised on its website that the x-ray could be performed in Gardendale, AL at Diagnostic Imaging Center. The patient had to be driven 35 miles and patiently waited for over 5 hours while multiple phone calls were made by me, the ordering physician, in order to expedite the process. I made payment for $28.82, and made multiple phone calls to obtain the voucher needed to have the x-ray performed. The imaging facility even made the patient waste time by telling him that he needed to go to a nearby orthopedic clinic to get a referral for the x-ray. After 5 hours of waiting for the imaging to be done with a patient in extreme pain I was finally informed by the imaging clinic that they have no business relationship with Radiology Assist. This is the epitome of FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Completely ridiculous service. The patient deserves compensation for the pain and suffering that he endured while waiting for a service which could not be performed. I deserve a full refund plus compensation for all of my wasted time making the referral and calling multiple times to find out the next steps to obtaining the imaging.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/23) */ RadiologyAssist is not an urgent service and can not replace an urgent care or an ER. Dr. ****** should not have sent the patient to an imaging center without a confirmed appointment or voucher. The program has setup a well defined scheduling process where our program schedules an appointment, a payment is made for that particular appointment and then a voucher is generated. Dr. ****** completely circumvented the process where he created a request, immediately made a payment without a scheduled appointment and then sent his patient to the center and insisted that because he made an unwarranted payment, RadiologyAssist must provide the service. We do admit that there was a problem where we could not fulfil the request submitted, however we informed the Dr as soon as we realized this that the request could not be fulfilled and alternate centers were offered. We do sympathize with the patient for his/her unpleasant experience but the RadiologyAssist program has never been intended to be used as an urgent service. The full payment in the amount of $28.82 has already been refunded as the payment was never due.
