      I happened upon this company online while trying to get a reasonable self-pay price for some MRI's I had to have. I was skeptical because of their rating on here which I why I wanted to share my experience. I had my order from my doctor. I emailed my information to Radiology Assist and chose the imaging center closest to me. They scheduled my appointment on the day I requested and I paid them directly instead of the imaging center. They send you a document similar to a health insurance card that you give to the front desk when checking in. It was a very simple process and in the end saved me $500 which was a God send. I did have a couple of questions throughout the process and their customer service reps were quick to give me a call to clarify my concerns. Personally, dealing with them was a wonderful experience. It was so positive that I helped my boyfriend go through them for a cat scan and he paid 1/4 of the price that he was quoted going directly to the imaging center and paying out of pocket. Highly recommend.

      I personally had a good experience with Radiology Assist. I was able to get a consult with Radiology Assist AND scheduled for an MRI in less than 24 hours on the first date that I picked. After going to my MRI appointment, I received my results 3 days later. Based on that experience I will use them again and have recommended them to my family members.

      Radiology Assist is telling one of our patients (I manage a radiology center) and telling her that she needs to pay a certain amount to keep her appt with us.... the amount they are trying to make her pay is more than double what our cash price even is. I called them and asked what we can do to be removed from their site... (not sure how we even got there). I could not even get a straight answer of how to get removed from their system.

      I tried to schedule an ultrasound at one of the clinics they told me were covered near me. I gave them my dates and times I was available for the appointment. They said they would contact me. After three days I called them and they said they were still working on it. So, I called the clinic myself and the clinic said they were no longer accepting Radiology Assist patients. So, I called Radiology Assist back and they said they would get back to me. After waiting most of the day, I called the clinic and made my own self pay appointment. Later that day I got a call from Radiology Assist informing me that they did not have a contract with the clinic they originally gave me and only had a clinic way too many miles from me. They said they were working on getting the clinic back into there accepted clinics but didn't know how long that would take. They said they knew I had made my own appointment. How did they know that????? They said they were then discharging me from their system. When I arrived at the clinic for my self-paid appointment made by me, I was told it was cancelled by Radiology Assist. I was very frustrated. RADIOLOGY ASSIST is a very poor organization to deal with and could cause life threatening emergencies. I wonder if they really know what they are doing!!! I would not deal with this organization if I were you!!

      We are so sorry about your experience.
      Every imaging center that participates in our program does so voluntarily. We want them to see the benefit in the program we have created and if they don't, they can stop participating at any time.
      Unfortunately, the provider decided to stop participating in the program and therefore we were unable to schedule the appointment and so we came back to you and let you know that. We are glad that you could get in as a self-pay patient.

      I'm experiencing the same as other commenters. They required a few hundred dollars before the appointment for an expedited MRI and I was told turn around time for an appointment was 4 hours. It's the next day and was told there isn't an appointment available for me and they had to cancel my appointment entirely. I never stepped foot in their office and they canceled my appointment without asking me about it first. They refused to issue me a refund. Is this even a legitimate business or just a scam?

      We are unable to speak to exactly what occurred with your appointment as the name provided is not real.
      Generally speaking, payments for urgent appointments are due as soon as appointments are scheduled and if payments are not received by the end of the day, they are released.
      This policy is available publicly on our website and we also make it a point to inform the patient about this prior to scheduling the appointment. It sounds like your appointment was released at the end of the day when payment was not received.

      Of course if you did not receive your appointment, you are entitled to a refund. Please call XXX-XXX-XXXX and they should be able to issue you a refund immediately.

      Our program was founded to make healthcare affordable. Refusing to give you a refund for an MRI that was not received goes against the very core of our beliefs.
