This company installed a pergola for us 2018. We were initially happy with the work until recently. One side of the the pergola has shifted due to that side being anchored on a cracked concrete block and has caused roof damage. We called asking them to investigate since they were the original installers. The person who came to do the inspection was the initial installer. He stated that our yard tended to pool water which impacted the concrete blocks that they installed. He recommended that we reinstall the pergola. We were told that we would receive a quote to reinstall. However about a week passed without a quote being received. I called the company and left message, however no returned my call. As a result I contacted another company asking if they could ************* the leaning pergola. After sending them pictures they advised that they couldn't repair that type of work. So I was forced to follow back up with Arbors and Patios. I called again and left a message advising that we would like a return call. The office person eventually called back stating she hadn't been in for some days. She sent a quote later that day. We were quoted a price synonymous with a new installation job. We decided to have it taken down and not reinstalled due to the high cost to reinstall. So I called back and inquired about a quote to simply remove the unit and if there was a warranty on the initial installation. The office worker wrote down my inquiry and stated she'd follow up, however we were ghosted and were never called back. At that point we gave up and decided to hire a new company to install a new pergola after only having the original pergola for 5 years. We believe the pergola was not to code considering they secured the pergola poles on freestanding concrete blocks that are shifting. Since the installer diagnosed the cause of the shifting they should have foreseen the potential for this kind of damage to occur.
