Esther L** failed to provide mailing addresses to HOA which resulted in a collection. I reached out to them and they have not responded for over 3 months now. In doing so, we prioritize transparent communication through each step of the process. Part of that process is to address any questions, concerns, or misunderstandings from our customers. Having treated this closing in the same manner, we came to the understanding that our customer was aware of all charges related to the closing. After the closing, our customer indicated they were not aware of the charges they would be responsible for moving forward. While we aim to make the closing process as smooth as possible, we unfortunately are not responsible for the financial obligations that fall upon the customers once they own the property and the closing has been completed. Even so, we have reached out to the customer numerous times to resolve and educate them on the issues at hand. After speaking with them directly, it was mutually agreed upon that these financial obligations ultimately fell upon them and not the title company. Understanding that this situation is frustrating for them, we continue to try and communicate with the customer to provide any education or information that will assist them.
