      They canceled my policy because they stated they never received my windstorm exclusion. I was only getting hazard through them and windstorm from ****. The exclusion was resent well before the cancelation date, yet they still canceled the policy. My insurance broker nor I could ever reach a person for assistance. I have never had any such issues with other insurance companies. I can only imagine the pain of having to deal with filing a claim with them.

      Mission Select is a scam. Do not use this insurance company. They issues us a policy then cancelled it 30 days later due to having more than 10 acres. After cancelling they took a month to refund us. Then when they did finally refund us they shorted us ****** for the 30 days of coverage and FEES. So they issue a policy cancel it and keep any Fees what a racket. When I reached out to them directly they pushed me back to TGS that found us the policy and Mission Select refused to speak to the customer ME. DO NOT USE *********************************************

      We greatly regret the events that resulted in a poor experience for this customer. The customers independent agent bound the coverage and the policy was effective on February 2, 2024. The ***** Department of Insurance requires a licensed agent for all coverage requests. All customer calls are referred to their independent agent who issues and services the policy. Our Underwriting Guide states that dwellings on more than 10 acres are not eligible for our program, which is very common among homeowners insurance providers. It is unfortunate the policy was issued. Our first knowledge of the home being located on 10 acres was upon receipt of the inspection, which was completed after the policy was issued. The required 30-day notice of cancellation was issued on February 9, 2024, and was effective on March 15, 2024. The refund was mailed to the customer on March 29, 2024, within the time required by the Department of Insurance. The premium charged was for the period the policy was in force.       By far this is one of the worst. I filed a claim after a storm that damaged the roof and fence on my house in TX, my claim included hail and wind damage. The field adjuster comes out to assess the damage and also includes wind and hail damage on his report, the property examiner of the claims services sends the report back to the field adjuster TWICE to remove the hail damage from his report and finally a MONTH later she contacts me and she is asking me to file a second claim for the hail damage because their systems didn't show hail on the day of the storm which is not true. This adjuster is asking me to screw myself and file 2 claims in 1 month, knowing that this will double or triple my premium and most insurance companies will not even give coverage for having multiple claims in 1 year. To top it off, good luck trying to reach someone.

      RE:Policy *************************************************************** letter is in response to the complaint received in our office on the above referenced claim for *********************** On 3/3/23 the insured filed a claim (Claim #*******) for wind damage to their fence and shingle roof with a date of loss of 3/2/23. The claim was inspected and find minor wind damage to the shingle roof and to the fence. The amount of the repairs did not exceed the policy deductible of $5,328. The field adjuster also noted small hail damage however the hail report did not show hail at this location for the date of loss of 3/2/23. We explained to the insured that the estimate only covers the wind damage from the reported date of loss and the hail damage as not included in this claim as it did not happen on the same date as the wind. The hail damage would need to be a 2nd claim. The insured then reported a claim (claim ******) for hail damage with a date of loss of 9/4/20 on 4/7/23 under policy KOP60044049. We inspected the home for hail damage and issued a check for the hail damage to the home under this claim on 4/18/23.The insured has been compensated for the damage to their home and 2 claims were needed as the hail damage happened on a different date of loss. It should be noted that the **************** of Insurance does not allow insurance providers to surcharge any weather claims regardless of the number of claims.Sincerely,*************** Claims ManagerAegis Security Insurance Company

      I had a bad experience with them. I bought a new home that had a bad roof and they canceled my policy even though I provided proof that the roof had been replaced and is now brand new. I tried contacting them to talk about it and got ignored I guess, I could never get a hold of anyone.

      We greatly regret the communications difficulties that have resulted in a poor experience for this customer. We normally provide prompt, definitive responses and that simply did not occur here. My apologies.
      Our first knowledge of a contractor's work on this home arrived in our office on March 17, 2022. We have spoken with the customer's agent and have advised the agent he may re-write the account with us so long as the homeowner provides the necessary documentation of a full roof replacement on the dwelling.
      Thanks for providing an avenue of satisfaction for this customer.

      This agents from Mission don't care for there customers been with them since 2019 my roof had to be redone so I did fix it. I emailed the lady Karina they never put back my roof to be insurer I live in Houston thank God nothing bad happen in this years. Is time to change Insurers don't waste your money with insurance that don't care.

      We greatly regret the events that resulted in a poor experience for this customer. The customers independent agent bound the coverage and the policy was effective on April 30, 2024. The agent was required to submit the signed HO-140 Windstorm, Hurricane and Hail Exclusion by May 14, 2024. The signed exclusion was not received by this date and a Notice of Cancellation was issued on May 14, 2024, and was effective on June 18, 2024. An email advising the notice of cancellation had been issued was also sent to the agent on May 14, 2024. The signed exclusion was not received by June 18, 2024, and the policy was cancelled effective that date. On June 24, 2024, the agent submitted the signed exclusion, which was after the cancellation effective date. We did not receive any phone calls from the agent or insured, or the signed exclusion prior to the cancellation effective date of June 18, 2024.
