I ordered an automobile motor from this company. I paid $6500 and I have the receipts. The receipts have the delivery address that the motor was to be delivered to. They attempted to deliver the motor to my house. I called the company and told them the mistake they made, and I was told it would be delivered to the correct address. The driver refused to deliver the motor, and it was returned to the vendor. I was told I would be reimbursed for my payment. I received a refund of $4300. I called asking about the remaining refund, and was told it would be taken care of. 2 months later (today) I called again, and was told that $1500 was for shipping and restocking fee, and is non-refundable. I argued that the mistake was theirs, not mine, and I should not be charged for their mistake. The vendor was adamant and would not change his mind. I am still owed $2200 from this company.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/04/19) */ Hi Team, We have sold and delivered the below Item for this client with a 90 days warranty, the client has called us after the warranty has expired, hence we were not able to take the return back. I have attached the Delivery report for your reference. We have not received a single BBB complaint from the past 3 years and we have sold thousands of Parts to our clients. We always accept returns if there is a problem within the warranty period, it's clearly mentioned in the Purchase order at the time of the purchase. This client has disputed the charge with the bank and lost the dispute as the warranty has expired, hence trying to defame the company on BBB. We would advise BBB to remove this complaint immediately, or we will take legal action on the matter. The product I purchased WAS NOT DELIVERED. They mistakenly tried to deliver the product to my house, when my receipt stated the delivery was to go to a business. Then I was told the driver could not deliver the product to the business, it had to be delivered to my house. SO I agreed BUT the driver then refused delivery, and instead returned the product to the supplier. I was then told by the supplier that I would be refunded for the purchase, but I was only partially refunded. The supplier told me there was a "restocking fee" that could not be refunded, even though the return was due to THEIR MISTAKE. So this response is a complete fabrication, and has nothing to do with the truth. I NEVER RECEIVED THE PRODUCT THAT I PURCHASED.
