      Highly recommend Arthur Hagar HVAC. They have been my go-to HVAC company since I was introduced to them when I bought my house. They got both of my heat pumps up and running in a house that was empty for a couple years. Whenever I wanted a system ***** check or needed maintenance, the experience was always pleasant and reasonable. They help me get 20 years of service out of the systems I had. Not too bad!This year it was time to replace both units, and I didnt hesitate to contact Arthur Hagar to take care of me. ****** (sales) was out to the house to estimate what was needed within hours of calling them. He created estimates ranging from the lowest cost option to a the top end option. After talking with ****** and with some neighbors and friends, I decided to go with two new Trane two-stage heat pumps. Once the decision was made, Arthur Hagar was at the house within a day to install the new units.The installation crew removed the old units and installed the new ones very quickly and quietly (I work from home and didnt hear them at all). I looked over the installation and was very impressed with the quality of work done and the cleanliness of the work area. They left no debris behind.After having the new units for the past few weeks, I can say they work great, are very quiet, and keep the house at a constant comfortable temperature. Very glad we picked the two-stage units.

      We built a new home in 2020. Our builder contracted Arthur Hagar to install the 2 new air conditioning units. In Nov of 2023 one of the units stopped working. We called Arthur Hagar since the units were under warranty. Hagar determined the A/C coil was bad. Hagar charged us a service fee for coming out to inspect the units that they installed just 3 years ago and are still under warranty. They also told us that the warranty would cover the coil, but we would have to pay the labor costs (on a 3 year old system they installed, and that they had already charged us a service visit for). They did NOT provide an estimate.The repair took less than 2 hours to complete. The labor bill was $1,460!!!!! I informed the tech that the coil was under warranty and that we were only paying for the labor. He replied, That is the labor bill. Upon contact with his supervisor at Hagar, they explained this was common practice. He justified the cost for several reasons.First, he explained that they are only busy 3 months out of the year. In order to retain top talent, they pay them 4 times more than they should to accommodate for that. This is not a socialist country where I should have to subsidize a private company so their employees can work 3 months out of the year, yet get paid like theyre working a full 12 month job.Next, he claimed that it wasnt their fault that the A/C coil failed, and, therefore, they should not be responsible for replacing them. Our warranty is with Arthur Hagar, not the company they bought the A/C unit from. So, Arthur Hagar should take that up with the A/C company. The customer should not be responsible for paying anything.Hagar claims this scam is standard policy. They copied the technique from a company in **********. Since when did any standard labor charging practice in ********** have any relevance to work that happens in *****? Everything about this company is shady and wrong.

                 Since the customer did not supply an address I cannot look up the exact location address . However our warranty is the same to every builder. The installed systems are **************** warranted for a period of two years from date of move in. Anything out of that period will incur labor charges. Each hvac mfg. has their own parts warranties. Most are for a 5 year period and some are 10 years. It is unfortunate that this mfg. part failed in an untimely manner but I suggest contacting the mfg. to see if they will assist in some or all of the cost . If anyone needs any assistance with service history or model/serial information please contact me to assist.

      I only have positive things to say about the company. ***** and his team were polite, punctual, and honest. When I have to replace my system in the next few years, I will definitely be using Arthur Hagar!

      Our builder unfortunately used this contractor to install the **** system on this 2019 custom home. The customer service and competence of this company is the worst Ive experienced in the industry. The ladies that answer the phones are ****, callous, derisive, and dismissive. The technicians are friendly enough but I have to question the companys competence as three different techs came out over a three week period to service, assess, and fix the problem but failed to find (for three weeks) and failed to fix it, stating we have to come back later to check for a refrigerant leek. The service manager was immediately defensive and prefers to talk over the customer, but he did acknowledge that the equipment Hagar installs is terrible. So this is a company that installs terrible equipment and cant be bothered to fix it in a timely and professional manner when it fails (and it will fail). Arthur Hagar appears too proud of its legacy to treat its customers with respect and appreciation. Arthur Hagar may have been around a long time, but that certainly does not make it a good company. As the mounting 1-star ****** reviews indicate, their worsening reputation reflects their poor performance. Arthur Hagar take notice: your policies and your people are failing you and failed us, your ex-customers.
