I renew my insurance for six months and I request change one of the drivers, the renewal for the car insurance was ******* dollars ,they do another two charges two my credit card; one for ****** for a house insurance I didn't buy, and they did not mention another charge for 60 dollars. I called to ask why the charges were made and why they did not change the driver, and they said they forgot, and I had to pay ****** more just to change the name of the driver, which I had mentioned to them at the start of the renewal. I just received another bill in the mail for ****** from yet another insurance that I did not ask for. I called to speak with a manager and the person that selled me the insurance assured me that she was the manager, I feel like they took advantage and I feel like it is a fraud for charging me these amounts for the types of insurance that I did not request, and I have proof of of me sending the necessary photos of the new person that I wanted to change from the insurance. I hope you can help me because everytime I try to talk with them they raise the prices. I sent the drivers license photo by text on June 21 where they asked me to send for changing the driver from the insurance. I don't speak English my daughter helped me fill this out the forms I filled out I did not read the forms because I do not speak English well and I don't want them to take advantage of people like me that don't know English well.Initial Complaint

On August 01, 2023 I acquired auto insurance from ** Familia Auto Insurance, located inside of the Fiesta grocery store on *************************************************************************************. The total amount was $210 to begin my 6-month auto-insurance policy. Two weeks later, I receive a phone call from ************************* stating that I owed $900+ to continue on with the policy or risk it being cancelled. I asked why wasn't I informed of this before I spent my hard earned money on something that I didn't qualify for and he hung up the phone in my face. I proceeded to the auto insurance location to get some answers and to see how I could be refunded. I informed ******* that I was the guy that he just hung up on and demanded to know why this wasn't addressed when I signed up for the auto insurance policy. He refused to explain himself and denied me a refund. He actually called the police and told them that I had threatened him, (which was totally NOT true and the security guard that was on duty can attest to that.) I waited for the police and when they got there after about an hour, I explained the situation to them and they gave me information on what I could do to possibly get my money recovered through the courts. I was informed that there was a background check that was supposed to be conducted before collecting funds from a customer and signing them up for an auto policy. ************** DID NOT do this, otherwise if he had, I would have never qualified to be signed up for any insurance through La Familia Auto Insurance Agency and I never would have paid ************** $210. I would have just found another auto insurance company. All I would like to happen is for my $210 to be fully refunded back to my debit card. If I have to pursue this further, then I will, by any means necessary because I don't have money to just be taken away from me. I have a family to provide for and that money could have went towards some of their needs. Please help me get this matter resolved as soon as possible.
