I contacted RMLAutowerx on 02/06/23 via phone call and asked for a quote a as well as a diagnostics for my vehicle. I brought my car in to have it looked at and diagnosed by ***************************** owner at RMLAutowerx the next day 02/07/23. I had an issue with my cars computer and needed an engine noise I was hearing to be determined. At this time me and ******* agreed no work would be started unless I paid the $500 and we agreed the total cost to replace the lifters with parts and labor would be $1200. Once I paid the $500 to ***************************** he became less and less communicative, not answering my instagram messages or phone calls. Now he became so uncommunicative that I took it upon myself to tell him Im going to his shop one hour away in person to talk to him about the car and the repairs needed. I contacted ******* on instagram because I was told by him he is off the grid and had no phone, only a shop phone. Now this was on 02/13/23 once I arrived I noticed my vehicle was outside and not inside his shop whatsoever. Rather a new car was inside his shop in place of mine. I was told one of the vehicles being worked on (Camaro ZL1) will be removed once he finishes it. He told me itd be done by the very next day. After speaking to ***************************** about getting started I was told in order to begin work on my car he would need to buy the parts. As we discussed on instagram the price for that would be $300. I told him I will think about it and I headed home. Once home I reached out to him via instagram phone call. That Id like to get my car and also have my deposit back. ***************************** told me I wouldnt get it back because he spent it. Unfortunately for me I didnt want to lose money and ***************************** assured me work would be started that very weekend so now at that point I paid ***************************** RMLAutowerx the $300 via invoice. After paying the $300 Ive had no response from ***************************** for over a week now. In total Ive paid $800 to RMLAutoWerx with no updates.
