I came to Batteries Plus *************************************************************** to get my brand new watch battery changed on Feb. 29, 2024. I never even wore this watch. It is a brand new watch and cost $105. I tried to change the battery myself and made 2 small lighter scratches on the case. I came here and the Asian male employee couldn't get the case open and tried to hand it back to me and told me 3 times he couldn't open it. I asked him to ask someone else and he BRAGGED about how "he was the best." Well, he isn't the "best." He made 6 new scratches on my watch AND DAMAGED the frame with ***** all along the rim of the frame because his ego couldn't ask someone else. I finally asked him once more to give it someone else and the younger white male popped it open no problems with no scratches. If this Asian male would have put his huge rude ego aside and gave it to someone else, then maybe it would have saved all those new scratches on my brand new watch. Part of the watch frame was also chipped and damaged on the rim. (See the photos). Also, he never apologized and when he handed me the receipt, I told him "thank you very much" which he did not deserve and he said nothing. I left the store then I complained about him to customer service at the ************************************************************************************************************** and NOT have that one employee contact me. Well, the Asian male employee called me me back wanting to know why I complained about him which was inappropriate. I wanted someone higher up to call me. He kept being inappropriate wanting to know why I complained about him. This Asian guy is arrogant, doesn't know what he is doing and has no sense of being appropriate in customer service. The only reason why I went here is because I thought they could do a professional job and HE DID NOT. He messed up my new watch on the frame and back case and never apologized.
