On 9/15/2021 hired ************* ********, DBA Ellies Concrete to construct retainer wall. From 9/15/21 9/28/21 I withdrew $4,600 in total and gave to Ellies concrete for the project. On 10/04/21 I had a discussion with Mr. ******** regarding the process, materials, not used, and the unprofessional work that has been done so far. The project originally was supposed to take two weeks maximum. Neighbor and I decided to relieve Ellie's Concrete due to the unprofessional work and it being obvious he did not know what he was doing. There is improper footing, spacing, poor bonding, materials listed yet not used per quote, time taken on project, damage to property, leaving trash (cigarette butts, water bottles, clothing). Since letting him go I started to see more reviews of a similar pattern of the items mentioned above. Something he is still actively doing is taking peoples money and not complete the project. I have a written explanation of the job he was to do within a weeks time on 10/04/21 but neighbor and felt it was best to file a claim through insurance to help find a more credible and professional contractor. On 10/18/21 I spoke to ******************* (*****************************) for about 30min. ************ informed me Mr. ************* ********, DBA Ellie's ************ does have an accidental policy, yet it only covers Accidental and Neglegance. I asked to receive a copy of the policy but since I'm not the policy holder I cannot view it. ***************************** is based in ********, **********. ******************* was given ******** though he is based in *******, ***** and I am 4 hours away in **********, *****. ************ was not going to visit my property to look at the damages. ************ said that he would look at pictures that I can send him, but based can deny my claim based off of the policy and does not have to visit. Mr. ************* ********, DBA Ellie's ************ and I will receive a denial letter of the claim. Claim # TCIC000157.
