      BEWARE OF SKETCHY BILLING PRACTICES I went to this office for oral care and cleaning treatment, from the beginning I had issues with billing. I have Cigna dental insurance under my wife policy and verify it was in network. Well, they the lady in billing at that time NEVER inform me that some dentists are in network and some are not, which is a very important information because of insurance coverage. After x-rays they referred me to a Periodontist because I have some problems with my gums. I did go to the specialist and came back later because I had a tooth pain with the green light from my periodontist. They said I need a crown, I question again about the coverage and was told that I had to pay 60% and insurance will pay 40% which was wrong , was suppose to be 50%-50% . I explained to the billing lady again she didn't care and told me that's the coverage that she have on her computer. I just want to fix my tooth and finish with the pain, I end up paying the 60% out my pocket which was $834 out of the $1370 for the procedure. That was on April 2021. Last month my wife tells me that she received a communication from a ***************** claiming that I own Today's Dental money, I ran to the office to find out what was going on. They said that when they submit the claim I was max -out because my Periodontist max out my coverage with her claims to the insurance! I try to understand how they go forward with my crown treatment if I didn't had coverage. I question why I NEVER received a ****, statement, a call, an email about it, they said they did when I never received any kind of communication from them and explain that I'm enrolled with the **** informed delivery service that send me every day to my email what I'm receiving that day in the mail and I NEVER received any mail from them. There's a new billing manager in the office, *****, she tried everything she could to resolve this matter with no success. Now they're claiming that I have to pay the balance plus $200 fee for sending my **** to collection. Maybe ***** cared after all the unfair situation but the headquarters or main office didn't, they just care about the $$$ numbers, don't want to take responsibility for the mess-up processing of their employee at that time. I'm not going back ever which is sad because the dentist and assistants were very nice and professionals. Too bad for the sketchy billing practices they have and reading some of the reviews I'm not the first one to have issues about their ********.
