On 5/3/21 I signed a contract and paid $17,046.35 to have a fence installed. Their terms are 50% at start and 50% upon completion. I made a few changes such as adding keypad locks to the fence. The value of the changes was $2721.00. I held that money for completion. The fence was installed on 6/11/21. I created a punch list for completion and sent it to DFW Fence on 6/23/21. On July 7, I sent them an email asking when my fence would be completed. On July 9, they worked through a portion of the punch list, but didn't complete it. On July 23, I sent another email asking when the punch list would be completed. They said they were waiting on the double sided lock for the large gate. They evenutally installed a lock with a keypad on one side but a thumb lock on the other. You can just reach through the fence and unlock the gate. On August 30, I received another invoice for the $2127. I paid $1127 because they said the lock was in and they would come out. As of today they still haven't returned and the punch list is still open, I emailed them and told them i would pay the 1000 remaining as soon as they fixed everything. No reply. I have several items that need repair. Two gates need adjustment so they lock. One gate needs a cover welded over the latch area. Plugs in the large gate pickets. Small self tapping screws so I can attach the panels to the fence posts, and a 6 foot top rail replaced on the wood fencs. I just want them to fix the fence and give me a paid in full receipt. I believe we are all good with the issues. Our client has since paid us in full
