I am writing to attempt to stop the harassment and extortion from Chrysler Capital that we have experienced due to false claims about the condition of our Jeep Wrangler when we returned it from our lease. The Jeep was in perfect condition when we turned it into the dealership, ********** in *********, on time in September 2022. It even had more than ***** extra miles on it than were allowable under the terms of the lease and went unused, thereby contributing to the resale value of the vehicle. We have provided Chrysler with the documentation from the ***** dealership indicating that there was no damage to the vehicle at the time we returned it to them. However, Chrysler claims that there were dents in the doors, an entire roof panel missing, and stained seats, and has asked us to pay $1500 to resolve this issue. We have requested photographic evidence of this damage from Chrysler several times, and it has not been provided. Chrysler has been hounding us with multiple daily phone calls demanding this money, during working hours. We suspect this is some type of fraud, and would like to request that it please be investigated so that we can resolve the issue. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. Feel free to contact me if you need more details.
