    Pattern of Complaint:

BBB files indicate Trinity Ordinance has a pattern of complaints and customer reviews alleging they did not receive payment for their firearms Trinity Ordnance sold for them on consignment. Consumers also allege that they paid in advance for merchandise they have not received, and Trinity Ordinance has refused to issue a refund in a timely manner.

In March 2022, BBB submitted a written request to the company encouraging them to address their pattern of complaints. However, as of August 2023, BBB conducted a follow-up investigation and concluded the pattern of complaints previously noted remains.

As a result, BBB submitted an additional written request to the company seeking information including how they intend to address the pattern identified within consumer complaints and customer review data. BBB will update this profile with any additional information, including any business responses, when it is available.

Trinity Ordinance has not responded to BBB’s requests to address individual consumer complaints.

Consumers with outstanding concerns are still encouraged to file a complaint for BBB records but may also wish to contact legal counsel and/or the Texas Attorney General’s office: https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection

On July 14th I dropped a rifle off to be cerakoted. It was scheduled to be ready by August 4th. After several excuses and lies it became apparent that I had to go pick up my rifle. When I arrived at trinity ordnance, they claimed my rifle was in the oven. After heated discussions with the owner he assured me it would be completed that week. Couple of weeks later, I attempted to collect it again, and was informed it was in the oven. Today I attempted to collect it again and they cant find my gun parts. The owner lies, the employees lie.

I purchased a suppressor back in Jan 2020 and at the same time submitted all my *** paperwork, with the help of Trinity Ordnance. I had to resubmit my paperwork in 2021 do to my paperwork being lost somewhere, "because of COVID," is what I was told. No worries, I resubmitted. In Apr 2022 I had to resubmit again because I was told that Trinity Ordnance updated their filing system to a digital system. No worries, I resubmitted yet again. Jun 2022 the *** sent me an email notifying me that my form has been denied due to the digital images that Trinity Ordnance sent attached the form were too small. Not to mention when my paperwork was submitted the last time the young lady who submitted it even put down the wrong address. I have called and spoke with ******* and with ******, both managers, and neither has returned my call, after they both said they would. I have also called and left multiple messages with employees for ******* to call me back and have yet to receive a call back. This seems to be a trend according to ****** reviews and the BBB.I decided to look at some ****** reviews done by previous Trinity Ordnance customers. I stumbled across a one star review done by a ************************************* that is very similar to my own situation. This shows I am not the only person that this has happened to. My guess is that this is a trend for management not to answer dissatisfied customers who want their money back. I also looked on BBB's website and found poor ratings and it even says that Trinity Ordnance hasn't even responded back to the BBB. I have all of my paperwork to include the original receipt of purchase and bank statements. I just need to know when would be a good time for me to come to the store and get my money back. I am a very patient man, but my patience is running out. I no longer have a need for a suppressor that is not worth what I paid for it 3 years ago.

on 9/10/2020 i put a silencer on layaway and paid half $270. the salesman ****** told me there is no time limit to purchase the silencer. due to covid, i couldnt work on pursuing a stamp with ATF. when all other priorities were taken care of, i asked trinity to put a muzzle device on back order for me and paid for half of that $37. i waited to receive and buy the muzzle device before i buy the silencer because this silencer is worthless without it. i checked periodically for months but they said the supplies are limited due to covid and that i dont have to keep calling them. they said they will call me when the device comes in. they never called to this day. now the owner says, its been way in the past, sorry, goodbye. i still have the receipts. the owner doesnt care. Nothing on the receipt or the back side of it says anything about time limitations.

I brought in a consignment gun in August of 2021, the gun was bought and put on lawaway and paid off in November 2021 by a customer of theirs. I have still not been paid for it. I have called, emailed and stopped by multiple times, and finally met with the owner, ******* on May 12. He told me he would contact me in a week or two to pay off my consignment....................... never heard from him again. I see his response on some of the other reviews, asking them to email him, he told me face to face that he ignores the emails because he doesn't have the money to pay them off. I have given him ample amount of time to make it right, but he doesn't have to decency to even reach out or reply to an email. Trinity Ordnance owes me $1,000.49 for the sale of my firearm.

I brought in a pistol for Trinity Ordinance to sell on consignment early 2021. In January 2022, I went to the store in person to pick up the pistol because I assumed it hadn't sold yet. I learned from an employee that the pistol sold in November *********************************** for payment of $380. I have never been contacted by Trinity Ordinance's owner or employees regarding this transaction. I have called and spoke to employees on multiple occasions who tell me they put a document on the owner's desk and he is the only one authorized to pay out a consignment. I'm seeking payment in full. They have my correct contact information.

CONSIGNMENT COMPLAINT ***** TRINITY ORDNANCE On May 26, 2021, I placed two pistols on Consignment with Trinity Ordnance in Lake Worth, and Associate D said it would be 90 days. I requested that I receive a telephone call if there are any offers. I called them in late July and found out from Associate D both pistols had sold during the first two weeks of July 2021. When I called on October 1, I was told only Owner R could handle any payment. Left messages for him. On October 4, I went by the shop and was told by ***************** R was out. No return call on October 12 or October 13. After waiting for 2 1/2 hours on October 14, Owner D arrived and paid me for one pistol (CZ27) .I was promised payment on the 2nd pistol, Star Firestar, November 7, 2021. Since then, I have called twice and stopped by the shop on November 15 and November 17. I relayed to Associate D my wife is undergoing Chemotherapy and I need the cash for the 2nd pistol ASAP. Still total silence from *********** one at Trinity has ever returned a telephone call. I live in ******** 30 miles from Trinity. My time and gas has been wasted, and I told Associate D my wife is undergoing Chemotherapy. I need the cash now, and they owe me $459.99. I filed a BBB complaint even though they are not members.

Trinity Ordinance is a gun shop in ********** that sells guns on consignment. In sept 2020 I consigned 3 guns to them for sale as follows;Springfield Armory XD-9 *********************** 30 Caliber Carbine Winchester Model 70 7mm hunting rifle They sold the guns fairly quickly. I was advised that they had a policy whereby the buyer could return the guns in 90 days so they would issue my funds (less their fee) after that, so I waited. It has now been a year, multiple phone calls, a visit from a lawyer friend of mine, promises of (literally), the check is in the mail. Nothing. I keep getting promised a check, but nothing happens. The owners name is *******.I am owed, by their own accounting, a total of $2331.58. Ive attached some of the email traffic including their admission of having sold the guns on consignment Im at my **** end. Thanks. **
