      We bought a townhome by Village Homes in May 2022. We were pushed to close this house and multiple items were not ready in the home. We have been working with 3-4 different warranty/builders for Village because of the rapid turn over. I have called multiple times to even the coFounder, *************************, to get resolution for a broken microwave door (x12 months) and have yet to hear back. The warranty person at this time, *****************, was out for multiple months and did not follow through and said the ticket was closed. He also said he would get back to me (emailed and called x3 since March 2023) with no response. I would NEVER recommend Village Homes as once you buy you are on your own with completing your property; buyer be ware!

      My husband and I saw a new construction home in February of 2022 when it was in the framing phase- sometime around April we signed a contract to purchase that house and from there were able to see the remainder of the home building process until we closed on the house on September 29, 2022 - a week before closing we had a final walkthrough where we created a final punch list of items that needed to be fixed before closing. Most items were not completed before closing but we were ensured they would be fixed before we moved in about 5 days later. We have texted the project manager personally over 10 times with no answer, we have emailed 8+ members of the staff and are continually told we are working on it thank you for your patience - it has been 60 days since closing and items from our final walkthrough still remain unfinished. Items including installing a soffit vent on the exterior of the home leaving a large hole to our attic for animals to crawl into. This particular item was flagged in an inspection report twice and to the staff personally at least 3 times. We have expressed via email, phone call and in person upwards of 15 times our disappointment and frustration and nothing seems to motivate the business to fix our items. We have contacted owners directly via email and filled out their post closing survey. We have submitted every form of feedback that we can. We will not be conducting business with this builder in the future and considering the amount of money that is spent on purchasing a home and how important it is to be built correctly I would not and do not trust this company to conduct business appropriately with other clients either.
