I had shoulder pain so I went to see ************ with JPS. This was my first and LAST time using this crooked system!For an office visit, one x-ray and a steroid injection, they charged my insurance more than $3,700!!! They charge a $350 "facility fee" for just walking through the door, so BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!They made a $1,000 between what I paid at the visit and what the insurance paid and they had the ***** to bill me again for more than $1,000!!!!I will be reporting them for insurance fraud immediately!

Do not go to them!!! Stay away from this place!! I scheduled a well visit-had to wait 2 months to get in, which was expected, but when I get to the appointment they said I owed $240!! The receptionist said she let me know but when she went back to check she had not called me. It was a well visit. I would not have kept the appointment if I knew I had to pay! I told them I was only there for a well visit and that was ridiculous. She said that was incase I talked to the Dr about anything else. I assured her I would not, then she says there would be no charge. I really liked the Dr. she asked if there was anything else I needed to talk to her about. I said no bc the receptionist said if I mentioned anything else there would be a charge. She wrote well visit in my chart. I double checked with the receptionist that there would be no charge and she verified. A few weeks later I got a bill for $400!!! I called and they did not submit as a well visit and said balance was $0. I got ANOTHER bill this week for $158. They said I have to call my insurance ** bc since they already reviewed my ac**unt once they are not able to do it again. It was a well visit!

They charged me $350 JUST TO WALK THROUGH THE DOOR on top of the doctor visit and shot I received! Its OBSCENE BUSINESS PRACTICES to charge patients ridiculous amounts of money to just WALK THROUGH THE DOOR!!!!!! They just **** patients because they aren't happy with the money they received through insurance contracts they negotiated.

My Sister *** her right knee replaced in September which was great ?? all the people on the surgery floor was great. Well the second knee replacement went good as well which was in January.. But we had to return to the hospital due to her breathing thought maybe she may have had a blood clot. Well thanks be to God it wasnt that it turned out it was her heart which wasnt good ither. So they admitted her into the hospital to run test and do a echocardiogram and a cardiologist. Well during her one full night and half a day stay on the second floor in cardiac. It was not a pleasant stay. You push the button for the nurses to come and it would be 30 to 40 minutes before they would come. That was even getting her medication. Also something simple as an ice pack an water. I think its sad for the patience to be treated in that manner. Everyone is sick and trying to get medical care otherwise they wouldnt be there. My sister had one nurse that really looked out for her and she was the only one I could see really working and looking after her patience. The others were just sitting at the nurses station laughing and discussing things that not nothing to do with working. My sisters room was right across from the nurses station so I would push the call button and just listen to it beeping before anyone would answer or come after answering. They really need to do better by their patience their human beings to,no matter their circumstances. You treat people right,,,,, Disappointed!!

I've been lied on by urologist about interactions I was told by one doctor when I explained I was homeless and had a dog that I didn't know if I could stay overnight due to arrangements for my dog I then the man told me " I don't give a s*** " u stay u live u leave u die because I have a kidney stone in my right kidney **** mm in size then he disrespects a couple trying to ask a question he tells them he didn't have time to answer there question he had patients to attent to rudely then I was able to finally get my dog a sitter about 30 min later so I told them I'm ready to stay thinking I was getting my kidney stone taking care of that never happened I'm a military veteran they never asked me the whole time about my va they I mentioned it because they keep charging me for services then the urology lady told me since I was a veteran they want3d to refer me to va because if I had this done at jps I would have to pay for everything if I went to va it would be free the referral people at va said that was a lie then I filed a complaint against the two people about that then a ******* from urology talked ***** and she again like everybody else starts talking about going to va when a supervisor from va assured me I was already approved by va to have surgery and everything was set ******* then stated I have to open a new case because my July 2023 referral was no good when I was just informed it was good and was approved that's when I got mad and yes I did say words like I'm tired of this s*** and this is ******** then she proceeds to try and tell me to quit using profane language and set me off even more then I told her don't ever tell me how to speak then she hung on me and refused to answer the phone then I read a report that she gave me February appointment which is a lie because we never spoke about any dates at all she lied on a report to cover her own **** these workers lie on reports they talk to patients Ike ******* and don't belong in a hospital I've also let them

I really want to have hope dealing with *********** RELATION. They do send someone out to talk to you about a problem if you have one. But everyone knows that no matter what patient relation is going to protect JPS staffing even when they have did wrong. People have seen it happen so many times. They tell us they are there to help us ,but their actions speak louder than words. But I can tell everyone this, *********************** see everything!!! People can lie to us ,but one day they will have to look *********************** and our heavenly Father in his eyes and tell him how they were a Big Bully!! I think they should comuncate better within themselves...that they should be more knowledgeable before dealing with real people..and that they need not to have so much jokes and social time between them and more care for patients.....just because I search and read, I know what I can do for myself because for them, I'm fine even though I'm in pain.Was a waste of time

I have to say I have had better experiences than most until just recently. Mostly they have been so helpful and my podiatrist, she is so thorough and caring. I got assigned a new primary care doctor and because of some problems with my bloodwork he saw ****** disease and possible cancer and/or leukemia. It explains so much of my symptoms. He told me he would be ordering tests and referring me to oncology, hemstology, endocrinology and a GI doctor. He said they would be ordering tests also. Well my phone started ringing off the hook to start all this and after having to cancel so much already I emailed him, told him the shape I was in, and let him know that with no help at home at all I struggled EXTREMELY with pain and weakness just to finally go see him and get the blood work a few times. Then I'm busted for days not being able to take care of myself because it takes so much out of me. So my question to him was, is there any way he could admit me for one or maybe two days to see all these doctors and get all their tests done all at once so I can get treated? I know my limits. I know what I'm capable of. I have no help at all. He just said no that's impossible. He sent me an email back later saying we're here if you need us. This was back in October and now we're in the middle of January. I havent been able to get back in. I've just cancelled a few things because I couldnt make it. I talked to a social worker today and one of them said just make one appt a month until you get it all done. I thought hospitals were supposed to help the really sick and needy. I could be dead doing what that social worker said. Sometimes it's so hard knowing theres no one that cares enough to help you. Doctors have gotten so hard and uncaring for the truly sick people who need their help. I've had 2 close family members get diagnosed with cancer and literally be gone within 2 weeks recently. One was just last week. We've got cancer all in our family. Or we did have.

Misdiagnosed Congestive Heart Failure for three months and almost killed me. I was discharged from the ** after finally being diagnosed with CHF after being told at the ** I was constipated... NOT... with a prescription for Lasix (sic) and a referral to the Cardioligist with set an appiontment for the end of January 2023... this was about December 9th, 2022. I left and went to THR Arlington Memerial... they admitted me on the 9th or 10th of December 2022. I weighted 275 lbs. when I was "Discharged" from JPS and admitted to Arlington Memorial... I'm still in Arlington Memorial for the third time since being admitted in December and weigh 224 lbs. (should be discharged today) I had over 50 lbs. of fluid built up in my legs, lungs and heart when JPS discharged me with a prescription and a referral. WHAT THEY DID SHOULD BE CRIMINAL! IF I HAD NOT GONE TO THR AMH I WOULD BE "DEAD"... YES "DEAD" AND JPS WOULD NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE OR CARE! It doesn't matter what I say, JPS responses are nothing but lies and denials... so this does about as much good as filing a "Formal Complaint" with JPS... been there done that... told me I was "Inportant to them"... then Test Results comfirming my complaint started "Disapearing" off of "My Chart". Called the Patient Ambassedor ****** back... told me I would have to call IT for a problem with My Chart that she had nothing to do with it... she filed my Comlplaint and she was done...
